  1. That's ace! Can you point me in the right direction of one of these (name for it)?
  2. I haven't had my Masada out skirmishing since I bought the Blackout, but I can confirm that when I had a test fired recently with it installed, I got the tuning fork sound. This is definitely a RS issue too as they are nicknamed on RS forums as "Tuning Forks". I quite liked to be honest, but it can it be distracting on the ears in a game? Would it give away your position after a shot if the enemy is close by in a silent environment? This tuning effect is short though, but on a RS rifle your hardly going to stop it with your finger unless you want to light it and smoke it too!
  3. Your PDR setup is exactly what I'm looking for. I still need to pick myself up a micro red dot, but it has been near impossible to get hold of the U.S Govt suppressors as they are always sold out. It's a shame because I sold my USP Tactical as I couldn't get a thread protector or suppressor for it and now that it's gone they've started popping up with equivalents in the UK. Hopefully they will stay in stock when I eventually pickup the KWA MK23 instead. I found an alternative here - http://www.leesprecision.co.uk/
  4. Any details on what we have to look forward to?
  5. The minute the ehobbyasia youtube video came out with this on a PDR, they sold out. Need to get one of these my self. Thanks for the pic. I assume you have the holo sight with the laser unit? I have been holding fire for the possible laser/torch pdr addon, it they ever make one.
  6. When I bought the PDR, it was a toss up between the PDR or a Kriss Vector for something different. I've always wanted a Real Sword Type 56-2 and that would have been a better buy, but I didn't want another large gun to hulk about the field. I own a PTS Masada and before I owned one I was growing a fetish for Magpul bits for my M4 or what I have coined as "military tupperware". I was looking for something compact and nearly bought an Ares G36CV. I still think about the Vector especially after the announcement regarding KWA, but I came to the decision that I wanted an AEG that I could share my P
  7. I didn't realise I had entered the film The Outsiders. Does this mean you are a greaser and I'm a soc for having a gucci gash gun? That made me laugh mate Cheers
  8. What do you think gearbox aside whould be the first things you would do to your PDR? The reason I ask aside from the gearbox is that I am under the impression that a number of people had a problem with gearbox cracks in Masadas because they were modding it with upgrades the gearbox couldn't handle. This is to be expected from a gearbox that was really meant to stay the way it was. The other thing being the use of 11v over 7.4v Lipos and high torque motors that can add to much stress to the internals. I'm assuming the PDR would be much the same. It's a shame to think that we will have t
  9. Was a little confused by this post. At the beginning it was a review and a breakdown of the internals. The middle was full of how sh@te it was and that nobody was going to buy one. The end is full of, when are they re-stocking and I want one nows??? I bought one the other day and am now terrified and confused
  10. I've heard a lot about the cracking gearbox shell issue with people who have upgraded the gearbox and motor. Has anyone had this issue without these upgrades? The guys at 321Airsoft (Youtube) said that the Masada should at it's price be able to take these upgrades without cracking and that a cheaper G&G guns have never had this problem whatever was put in it. I’m a believer in if it aint broke, don't try and fix it. Don’t mix this up with ignorance though, it’s just logic based on what I need my rifles to do rather that plug a Ferrari engine into a Reliant Robin I guess. The only thing I'v
  11. I didn't know that the real steel USP Tactical only used the left side decocker/safetly. I had the same plan myself as this is the one thing I don't like about the pistol (apart from the sights not having any dots). I feel that the right side gets in the way of my hands. I like to keep my pistols stock, but I might put in an order for a single.
  12. Good review man, I too have purchased one of these from abroad and haven't been disappointed. To be honest I really wanted the standard USP, but I think this is better since I have the compact also and the standard one was hard to find in the UK. It might be worth noting that if you have a problem getting parts, you can always register with the KWA Help Desk; send them a note of the part your after and they will take payment and ship it to you in the UK. It's that easy. I had to do it this way as the main KWA Store page wouldn't let me register in the normal method to buy parts as my
