I placed an order while he was away, I received the package 7 days after his return. I'm sure he's just busy and getting the orders out.

Sounds like it double-fed and cracked the loading nozzle so you are losing pressure in the chamber.

Good point. I just can't resist buying aftermarket part to try them out... The first thing I did when I got my WE CQBR was remove the HEAVY rails, the felt recoil was vastly improved with the super-light 733 style hand guards in place.

I just tested the PMC buffer....and it sucks. It actually made the "kick" "recoil" feeling much weaker...it weighs quite a deal more than the stock unit. Waste of money indeed.

I was just looking at the WE M16A3 on Redwolf and noticed the caption they have stating "Please take note that this WE M16A3 GBB has been modified to a much lower fps for legal reasons, but will include the original seals if you wish to use it at its original power." http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=26843 Sounds like changing the o-ring seals on the nozzle (I would guess the nozzle) to smaller ones that bypass some of the gas pressure should do the trick for you. And here's just another picture cuz it's just such a sexay M4!

I have a PMC buffer but haven't put it in yet. It weighs a whopping 30g more than the stock unit. When I get to do some ROF testing on the chrono I'll post some results. I feel like the stock unit provides plenty of "kick" and don't really want so see my ROF drop too much... I do also have a LAT 90% spring to do some testing with as well that I have not installed either. I also have the LAT buffer counter-weights to test in the stock unit as well. I'll be sure to give my conclusions when I get around to testing. I'd really like it if a new CNC Al bolt came out....

I can't wait to get the chrono from my brother so I can get real FPS readings and I need to go get some CO2 carts. to test my new CO2 mags. I just test fired the new setup with the standard mag using propane, the gun shoots fantastic! I did some good ol Coke Can chrono tests with KSC 0.20g BBs. Easily shot thru the top center, which I know for a fact is over 470fps from my own previous chrono vs. coke can tests. Blew clean thru two can sides setup 6 inches apart as well. I can't imagine how hot the M16A3 length would shoot with the CO2 kit and tighbore....I think I need to go buy one.... Can't wait to test my CO2 mags next! Damn I sure love this gun. Need to get bros chrono to do some real power and ROF tests too. WE M4 FTW!!!!

Anyone know of an online manual for the latest version? The one on www.weairsoft.com seems to not worky....and mine did not come with one. I'm trying to install a new trigger set. Thanks gents. EDIT: Nevermind! I found the info on http://wem4guide.wikidot.com/lower-receiver-takedown

Sweet setup Jin! I run the Knoxx SpecOps on my RS M590, it's a wonderful unit. I really dig the Surefire setup you've got, I may need to invest in one for my RS.

My new CQBR version DOES NOT have the CO2 nozzle. I ordered the CO2 kit from AirsoftBuddy. The Brass chamber looks identical to what is in my CQBR but the actual nozzle is quite different.

Not Milspec but CNC AL. http://www.ipscgm.com/index.php?main_page=...roducts_id=1496 I ordered one but haven't received any shipping notification from them yet...and it's been a few days Im starting to wonder about their service. THese are also the same PRI handles seen on Redwolf for the WA/PTW systems...so they might just be the same...can anyone clarify? The Magpul PTS grip I bought from Redwolf that said it also fit the WE needed modification for the selector spring hole in the grip. Wondering just how man of the external parts for WE/WA are actually compatible. New pic of my WE with a little Magpul.com ad on it, WE + Magpul = FTW!

The only and last thing I want to say about the claimed temps of the mags is that the people don't actually KNOW what temperature the MAG was at when it exploded. Just because it was in an environment where the ambient temp was "40C" you have no way of knowing the actual temp the MAG reached sitting in direct sunlight. So who wants to go take one of those IR temp gauges, put their mag in the sunlight, and wait for it to explode so we know what the real point of failure is?

OK OK I apologize for flying off the handle gents. BBstriker, I'm glad you weren't killed by that frag grenade of a mag. I'll leave the rest of this discussion up to those of you who are actually concerned with overheated exploding mags. As for me, I'll just continue to keep my mags out of direct sunlight exposure until you all figure out how to let them overheat without exploding. Cheers Mates!

Again, for your uneducated people; pV=nRT Go take a chemistry class or two. "R" is the only constant in that equation. Pressure and Volume are both directly proportional to Temperature. Temperature can NOT remain constant if either volume or pressure values change. And vice versa for them all. The size of the enclosure is NOT the "volume" of the gas. Volume is the amount of space the gas is actually occupying within the enclosure. Every time you fill a mag with gas the actual volume within the mag changes, do to all the VARIABLES in the above equation, both on the mag and on the bottle/tank of gas being used to fill the mag. Seriously, go learn something before trying to have an educated discussion. I sill do not believe there is anything to be worried about with these WE M4 mags, they've been out for quite some time now and other than these stupid stories of mags being exposed to excessive sunlight and heat these mags are not just randomly exploding. Just think about the GreenGas you can buy online these days. How long did it take for the older gas cans to get banned from online shipment ordering because of safety reasons?? and how many of them exploded and injured people? You guys are worrying about nothing. Use and store your mags properly. The end.

I also wanted to mention how the WE proprietary design for loading nozzle and brass "chamber" is very well thought of. Some people may dislike the design because it does not look quite as realistic as the WA "open chamber" and most modern GB designs, but as many things I work on in life, Function > Form is always one of the most important things to keep in mind. Considering that from what I've seen, the "open" vs "closed" bolt design is the only aesthetic aspect in which the WA > WE, I think it's a small detail in the greater overall picture and design. The way the WE magazine seats perfcetly tight against brass "chamber", and the fact that the brass chamber does not move, creates a highly efficient and powerful system. Out of any GBB I've owned, especially other full-autos, the WE M4 DESTROYS them all in power and efficiency. Cool-down, what cool-down? Not shooting in cold weather? You must have a WA! WE M4 > WA M4
