  1. Hi Guys,

I'm new around here and a new fan of KJW M4.

I'm located in Los Angeles, CA and was wondering where i could buy the magazines locally. I've searched evike and GI and other local stores don't carry the magazine anymore.

I see airsplat carry the gun but the magz are out of stock. Hope someone could advice me where i can get them.

    Thanks in advance.

Hey Scion, I was in LA last month and GI said that they were out of stock, however they may have stopped carrying it since.

You can order them from overseas, from retailers such as eHobbyasia, redwolfairsoft and UNCompany which are all based in Hong Kong.

  2. That really sucks, cause there really isn't an easy way to load them without the loader. ..

Sent from my totally sexy, Android powered, IPod killing, Samsung Galaxy S3 ;-)

Is there any non easy way to load it? And @ Roman ill be getting 2 as well :)

Sent from my totally sexy, android killing iPad 3 ;-)

  3. Is there any way to load the m4 without the included loader? I need a way to load it in the mean time. My mum didn't know what it was and threw it away. I was just about to try and order it from KJ but now I'll wait for the cradle one :) (velocity reducer and piston are great btw)

  4. PM me if you need anymore info, I consider myself knowlegdable enough about the AR platform to help. As far as costs go, you could litterally make your stock have little to no wobble if you put electical tape on the stock tube. SInce your looking at Magpul stuff I assume you want magpul and heres what my recommendation would be.

    http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magpul-pts-moe-stock-black.html

You still get the magpul look, but its cheaper then the CTR.

    Alright I'll look into it.

Thanks again for all of the help, I really appreciate it.

  5. I use the same stock, but would recommend the one without the clamp, with some electrical tape it will fix the wobble not the clamp part of it. For the rail system I believe its a standard carbine length (7in?)

Thank you that was very helpful. I'm really new to the world of M4s if you can't already tell, haha.

Would you be able to link me to the stock you recommend by any chance? I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that.

    Cheers,

    Lycan

  6. This is a review of the Tokyo Marui Hi-capa 4.3.

The Hi capa 4.3 (referred to as the 4.3 in this review) is a great pistol. I usually run around with it using it as a primary weapon in CQB, since it's so damn fun to use.

Out of the box, the 4.3 comes with a 29 (or 30, not sure) round magazine, some bbs, an unjamming rod, a manual, a story about how the hi-capa series came to be, and some targets.

This pistol can easily get two full clips off before it runs out of one fill of gas in the New Zealand winter (Around 12 degrees Celsius at the coldest where I live)

The 4.3 has a 4.3" barrel. It is a very reliable and accurate pistol, with plenty of upgrade parts available just like any other TM pistol. I'm about to upgrade mine with guarder parts from my local airsoft shop.

The first time you fire the 4.3, you will be amazed by the amount of recoil it has (for a gbb) It is equal to a TM desert eagle in terms of recoil, and instantly brings a smile to anyone who has the honour of using this pistols face.

It is very accurate, has an adjustable hopup, has a tactical rail and Marui markings on it. This pistol is also double action, and won't fire unless you squeeze the thing on the back of the grip like a normal 1911. It also has a safety which can only be engaged when the gun is primed like a normal 1911.

    To sum it up,

    Pros:

    Lots of upgrade parts available

    Plenty of power

    Very accurate

Great gas efficiency (I run it on propane)

Plastic slide (I prefer plastic slides due to the fact that the gun doesn't get as cold and I think that the cycling of the slier is smoother, however I'll leave you to decide on that due to the fact that this is entirely my personal opinion)

    Nice, crisp blowback

    Lots of recoil

    Magazine holds lots of pellets

    Cons:

    None really.

Thanks for reading my review. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated, positive or negative, so that I can improve my reviews in future.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll get back to you ASAP. If you would like I can also upload some pictures.

    Thanks again,

    Lycan

  7. This is a review of the galaxy MP5K.

Again, no pictures. Sorry guys, I'll make sure I upload some later though!

The Galaxy MP5K is a great gun that I love to use. It's amazing for CQB, however with .2 gram bbs it can overhop the shots a bit even on the lowest settings. This is no longer an issue if you use .25s though.

In America I think that you can find the Galaxy MP5K for less than $100 from a lot of stores (When it's in stock) however being in New Zealand I had to buy one for 250 NZD brand new (BB guns are complete ripoffs over here) which is equivalent to 194 USD. The gun comes with a 200 round hi-cap and I think it usually comes with a 70 round small magazine too, however I'm not too sure on that because mine didn't come with a second smaller magazine for whatever reason.

Out of the box, the gun shoots at around 350FPS which I think is very good for a CQB gun. The accuracy is great when using .25 bbs, and many a time people have thought that they'd have the advantage with an M4. They were wrong.

This gun is very light, you could easily wield two of these. Installation of the battery is pretty easy. You remove the cap (not sure what to call it) at the back of the gun, slide in your battery, remove the front grip and connect the connectors. Simple enough.

    What comes with the gun:

Included in the small box is a Galaxy MP5K, a 200 round hi cap (and possibly a low cap magazine as well) an EXCLUSIVE chinese charger, an 8.4v Ni-Mh chinese battery (I've had this for around two years and although it's not great, it makes a good spare battery.)

I've had this gun for two years and other than it jamming when I half pull the trigger(which is very easy to fix) I've had no problems with it. UNTIL TODAY.

For some reason, my charging handle started randomly flopping around. I'm no expert on the internal parts of an airsoft gun, so I removed it completely :) It was very easy to do, I just unscrewed one screw, and slid out the charging handle.

This isn't really a bad thing since now I can fit an even bigger battery in, and you couldn't even pull the charging handle back when the battery was installed.

Overall, this is probably my second favourite airsoft gun that I own at this point in time (behind my TM Hi-capa 4.3)

    Pros:

    Very affordable

    Great CQB gun

    Accurate

    Powerful

Comes with a battery and charger

Working charging handle for people that love to give MP5K's the old H&K Slap

    Very light

    Ambidextrous safety

    Cons:

The charger included with the gun is a piece of *beep* and it makes me think that my house is about to burn down when I use it.

With lighter bbs the gun can overhop the pellet

Thank you for reading my second review. I would appreciate any and all feedback you, the community, can offer.

If you would really really love pictures, then I will be happy to add them when I get a chance to.

    Thanks again,

    Lycan

PS: This is an AMAZING gun, I love it :)

  8. Hey guys.

Firstly, sorry for the lack of pictures. I may upload them at a later point in time but at the moment I really can't be bothered sorry.

    Onto the review!

So I purchased the ICS Sig 552 Commando a couple of months ago and got it wired to deans. I'm currently using a 7.4v LiPo with it and it's amazing.

I am from New Zealand so I can't tell you anything about the gun in full auto, however in semi auto it has never jammed on me and it general it performs perfectly. I play at an indoor cqb field called 'The Armory' and this gun is perfect for it. You can fold the stock to make the already short gun even shorter, and the folded stock doubles as a foregrip. The trigger response on this gun is absolutely amazing, and the accuracy is great. Out of the box the hop-up was more or less tuned to perfection.

I can easily hit a person on my first shot from around 100 feet away, and in the shooting range I am able to hit a circular target that is about 3 inches in diameter one out of two shots. I love this gun, and disassembly of it is very easy. I've only done this once to see how it works but you prettymuch remove the front rails around the barrel where the battery goes in, and then push a small button labelled 'ICS' behind the rear sight.

When you push the button, the upper receiver simply slides forwards, giving you access to the gearbox and the barrel/hopup.

Although I don't really care about trademarks, I know lots of people on this forum love them. The gun has two sets of trademarks on either side of the receiver. On the left side it says:

SIGARMS Inc. Exeter-NH SAN Made in Switzerland Cal. .223 Rem.

SG 552-2 Commando (Unique serial number)

On the other side it says:

RESTRICTED FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOVERNMENT USE AND/OR EXPORT ONLY

This gun is around 420 FPS out of the box. It features an ambidextrous safety, on which it says 'S, 1, 20' and comes with 2 clear 450 round hi-caps.

The magazine clips in sort of like an AK mag, and the magazines are clear and shaped like a G36 magazine.

Another thing I love about this gun is that the magazines clip together and detach very easily. This gun also has a functional charging handle and bolt catch however this does nothing in terms of firing the gun.

The one thing that I dislike about this gun, and apparently it's like this with every single one of them is this.

One of the magazines that comes with the gun is missing a screw near the wheel that you wind on the bottom of the magazine. This means that a bb can get lodged in there, which makes it so that the magazine won't feed and your gun won't fire. I managed to fix this however by opening the magazine, and just gluing the piece that is usually held into place by a screw together. This has fixed the problem entirely.

To sum up the review / TL;DR

    Pros:

420Fps out of the box but can be downgraded easily.

    Folding stock.

No wobble on the gun whatsoever.

    Realistic trademarks

    Extremely accurate

    Good hop-up

Removable charging handle for easier storage

Working charging handle and bolt catch.

    Cons:

One of the magazines doesn't come with a screw, but this can be fixed with a tiny bit of glue.

Thank you very much for reading my first review.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, positive or negative. If you would like pictures then please comment and I'll try to upload them as soon as I can.

    Thanks again,

    Lycan.
