    KJW M4

I'm considering selling my KJW as well. It's 100% functional, with extra parts and mags. I also comes with a bit of magpul stuff. I'm not sure if I really want to sell it, so I'm not going to put up an ad just yet. PM me if you are interested. BTW: I'm not willing to part out. At all. So don't even ask. Continental USA ony please.

I had the same problem until I took a second look at their email. I just copied the email off the back of my manual and got a reply that night. This is the email I used: kjworks@ms47.hinet.net

+1 Anyway.... The RS charging handle I got did not work. Once I filed down the nubs on either side, I slid it in and noticed that it was 3\4 of an inch (19.05 mm) too long. I'm going to try to shave down part of the charging handle as well as the part that the guide rod slides into. If my measuring is correct, then it should work after that. BTW: If anyone has a V1 or V2 bolt they'd like to sell to save up for t_hum's new one, hit me up.

t_hum, I know it's a long shot, but does the new bolt come with a charging handle? Mine just broke (2nd one I've owned ), and I can't find a place to buy another one. Just an Idea, but steel charging handles would sell really well. I know I would buy atleast 2.

Can't wait for the new bolt! BTW: If anyone has a new or close to new V1 bolt (or possibly V2) that they are willing to part with, I'll buy it from you. For some reason, KJW isn't replying to my emails, and I need a new bolt to replace my broken V2.

Mine flew out a little while ago. The tip of a pen and and some small spring that looked about right worked until I found the originals.

Hey guys. My V2 bolt broke a little while ago, so I'm looking to get a V1. My question is: can I get a V1 bolt from KJW themselves? I know they discontinued the V1 rifles, so maybe they stopped making the bolts as well. I emailed them 2 times so far and haven't gotten a response. Thanks in advance.

I have compaired a RS charging handle to my KJW. It should work with a little bit of filing. The bumps on either side of the RS charging handle are thing that need to be filed down, since the KJW charging handle doesn't have them. I might do it if my KJW charging handle breaks again.

Ah. I really wasn't sure abot that, I just rwemember someone saying something like that. Though i guess it's nice to know now that my M4 isn't illegal.

1, yes, it is quite skirmishable out of box. Range, accuracy, and reliability are quite nice with no upgrades. 2, I have been running propane since early november 2011 with no gas related problems. 3, I easily run 5 mags, though I almost never use full auto. 4, yes that is the same KJW M4 everybody is talking about, though that price is not a huge discount from what you'll find at other stores. And as for customs, mine got through very fast. The KJW has no trades, so there are no clear problems that would give the customs guys a reason to seize it. Also, if the gun is seized, then (I think)
  13. @LordElpus, Thanks, I didn't know that. I would be using .25s in it. Thanks for all the info guys, but I'm no longer so sure about the WE G36, I think I'll start looking at someother weapons. Again, Thanks.
  14. Thanks, but I already own a KJW M4, so I'm not looking for a starter GBBR. I just need a seccondary.
  15. Thanks for the replies guys. I've don a bit of research on this gun (including reading some of this thread) and I was pretty sold on it, I just wanted to make sure there was nothing I was missing. Anyhow, I had no idea it needed those upgrade parts. Part of the reason I was interested in this was because it didn't seem to be as bad as other WE weapons (please, I don't want an arguement with this, it's just my opinion). Again, thanks for the replies, you just saved me $330.
  16. Hey guys. So I've been looking at this gun for a little while now, but wanted to get the in general opinion of it before I buy it. Do guys like your G36's? Any major gripes? Thanks.

okeydoke, thanks! One more question, though. Does anyone know how much a complete V2 bolt is going to run me?

    KJW M4

Thanks. I just discoverd that my cylinder return spring broke. I'll just order an extra bolt assembly with my replacement spring. Can I order a V2 bolt from KJW themselvs? and I didn't find the V2 bolt on RA tech's web sight, is that something I have to email them about? and Saberwing, I don't know if cradle does, but RA thech makes a few TBB for it.

Is that a V1, Pantera? Anyway, does anyone know were I can get complete V1 and V2 bolts? Or do I have to buy the parts and make the bolts myself?

My bolt seems to be holding up well, but time will tell. If it does brake, then I'll try a V1 out in it.

@Hut, great, thanks! it makes my day to find out that I have 1 less upgrade part I need to buy. @ Jackster, RedWolf airsoft.

I just got my gun, and upon field striping it, I didn't find a rubber band. then I looked up pics for KJW V2 bolts and it looks like mine came with one! Is this something KJW is starting to do?
