  1. I only joined in 2012 I think so not one of the OG posters, but it was definitely a lot more active at that time, although I'm sure it was a lot more active before then!

Ultimately I share your frustrations with Facebook. It very nearly killed forums across the board for all hobbies despite being objectively inferior for consistent, organised discussion. It got a lot worse in the last year or so however when FB started ramping up the work their content algorithms do to match content they think you want to see - and I think that's off a lot of people, especially considering the anti-gun/RIF vibe.

I hope forums aren't a dying breed, although nu-social media is making that hard to hope for ultimately.

If this one doesn't work I'm gonna have to ask Arnie to try and fix it.

I don't think the root embedding feature is broken necessarily - if I grab a photo from my Google Photos dump and paste it into the message window, the forum software captures it and embeds it.

Looking at the URL for your image, it does take a similar format to the ones I'm pasting but because it's so verbose it's hard to discern differences.

Can I ask how you're copying it over? I.e. for me, I click on the photo in Google Photos to bring it full screen, then right-click and hit "Copy image location" through Chrome. Are you doing it differently? Another thing to consider would be whether you have any privacy settings enabled which are blocking the software from loading the photo.

After kicking around the idea for the better part of three years, I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Remington 870 bullpup conversion kit from Bullpup Unlimited.

Surprisingly, my APS CAM870 was almost a drop-in fit, requiring just a different stock bolt, removal of some plastic on a conversion piece, and a shim to adjust a particular angle of fitment.

It now has a 24" barrel, 8+1 capacity, and just 33" overall length (same as an M4), while adding less than a pound to the gun's weight, which is now perfectly balanced over the pistol grip.

Oh, and an Elcan, because why not. Might not be very useful, but it sure fits the look, doesn't it? I do have a C-More on the way that will be a little more practical.

Looks fantastic, but what Elcan is that? Looks like an M145 but retro, somehow - love it!

As much as I like the look of it (and I do) I do have to ask why this ?

your profile say your located in Edinburgh so your a UK player which means at 404fps you can’t use this gun over here ???

Plus says perfect size for CQB , and it is , but yet again if you use a 50rps gun in that environment there’s going to be some very angry and P***ed off players on the other team .

well confused mate by your train of thought for this build mate .

Higher RPS isn't just for spamming/high ROF, but along with it comes increased trigger response/spool up time etc - nice for CQB if you can't be bothered with HPA!

  5. Just went to place an order from WGC - Haven't ordered in years so I needed to reset my password.

But they sent it in plain text!!

Bad for 2 reasons - One it means they have it unencrypted on a database somewhere, meaning that database is vulnerable to being stolen and used for identity theft, standard theft if payment details are saved etc (not sure if that's possible on WGC but there you go) - Secondly it's bad form to send out any sensitive info over email.

  6. Thanks Blade! I asked around elsewhere and feared the barrel would be an issue.

I'm looking to specifically attach a G&P M16A2 VN handguard complete w/ M203 - Should I look to buy an extra barrel nut (if G&P isn't marui-spec)? I'm not that technical when it comes to Airsoft RIFs but I don't mind a bit of work as long as I'm careful :)

  7. Hey guys!

Dumb question from a dumb forums user.

I'd like to fit a specific forend (designed for a G&P AEG) onto a GHK M4.

On the face of it this is clearly not possible without modification, because I know GBBR/AEG specs/considerations are different.

However for some reason I seem to recall the GHK allows for AEG rails etc? I've combed the news thread and this thread but can't find any info on it. Wondering if I'm confusing it with another rifle.

    Thanks!
