  1. Any reason why not go with the Azimuth one? http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=AZI-VGBB-RFCB&search=special&rs=VFC%20mp5&catid=&cat=&view_choice=c
  2. What make mate? I considered an aluminium one, but was warned off it by someone due to a poor fit with the magazine. That's why I was thinking about the SAT one.
  3. Ahhhh nozzles I've got the Azimuth clear ones both of mine, or did have until lone broke in short order. I'm a firm believer in a lot of FPS inconsistency is not down to the nozzle itself, unless it has a poor seal with the mag, I believe its all down to how the floating valve seals off gas flow down the nozzle tip, and as such down the barrel. Now I installed Azimuth reinforced clear loading nozzles in mine, and thought I'd try the Azimuth alloy valve too as that has a small groove around its circumference for a rubber sealing ring That was a bad idea for two reasons 1) it was to
  4. It's a modification of the standard hop unit. I believe Nugentgl has a video on YouTube explaining how to do the actual modification, but it is really simple and gives FAR FAR better hop effect and range than the *suitcasey* standard VFC hop rubber. It is a permanent/non reversible mod however so personally I'd go for grabbing a new hop unit on standby in case something goes wrong or you want to revert back to standard for whatever reason. All you will need is X1 hop unit (just incase) X1 VSR type hop rubber of your choice, I use Maple Leaf diamond 70 degree. X1 Maple Leaf hop tens
  5. And here's my entirely Gucci MP7
  6. Now that is interesting, don't get me wrong I had no idea if the RS one would fit, but presumed it would given VFCs claims of RS dimensions. Out of interest why wouldn't it fit? Looks like its the VFC one only then
  7. You will get the same thing with every "Airsoft" mount, because the body on the rest is slightly narrower than that of the VFC, your only choice is the VFC one or probably a RS one.
  8. I have the weak first shot thing too, but only on two of my four mags, I'm presuming its down to a weak release valve spring or sticky release valve, I would change it out for a new one but like you say it only ever happens on the first shot then it's back to full strength.
  9. The MP5k only comes with one guide, don't ask me why I have no idea, but try to fit another and it won't cycle, or it will but it will eject one of the guides and jam the gun.
  10. I'd love to hand you any of my VFC GBBRs for a day
  11. VFC MP5 and MP5k VFC MP7 All but the k have more exterior work planned
  12. After looking it over closely with a view to bravely stripping down I now know why the VFC MP7 is so underweight. Every single piece of internal furniture is bloody plastic, hop unit, outer barrel, gas system, even the right hand fire selector is plastic. I know it saves money using plastic, but why when they replicate the gun itself so well would they skrimp on a bit of weight? It probably wouldn't make it 100% RS weight but I'm sure it would have been a damn sight closer than it is now!! Roll on Crusader steel upgrades!!
  13. I'm using Propane and Blasters. You saying that I've noticed that the retaining tabs on the magazine are bloody tiny, I wonder if yours are worn, not giving you a decent seal on the nozzle. Have a go at firing it with the mag resting on a table and put some weight on it. You say you removed the barrel and hop from yours may I ask how you did it as I'm dying to get inside mine and see if a simple change of hop rubber would stop its misfeeds. I notice from looking down from the rear that the hop rubber configuration seems to be similar to those on my modded MP5s.
  14. https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=6E591A0F1D9DE6B!2282&authkey=!AK8Dl6N9qrznZkQ&ithint=video%2c.mp4 Before anyone pipes up, both the mag and my room are stone cold, did a few test runs before switching on camera, didn't want to make a complete tit of myself...lol
  15. Got to say my one came in the post today and I rattled its very 1st magazine off on full auto without so much as a hint of gassing out, it even had gas left to spare. So while I empathise with the likes of Alkany who's MP7 won't get through one mag even on semi, it just goes to show you can't judge an entire line purely on the strength of one bad experience. I do have to concede one point though, mine did hav e a couple of mis feeds on the second magazine of auto, but runs as sweet as a nut on semi, I'd like to strip it back and investigate but, I'm not going to be the 1st and bust someth
  16. Does it use the same type of bulb as the VFC?
  17. I'd be interested to see a comparison between the two torches. If there's little to no difference I will be sticking with the VFC version I already have, I will never use the IR stuff and that would be my only reason for having the Element one over the VFC.
