  1. Nice pics Somegirls, http://www.6millimeter.info/joomla/index.p...91&Itemid=1
  2. Damn it, my wallet is burning... Now waiting for someone to start an "MP7 vs MP9" thread. I want the MP9 cos its shorter, but I want System 7, and the higher FPS from the MP7. I would like something accurate too so a comparison of MP7 vs MP9 accuracy at 5-10m would be good, and as well an FPS comparison.
  3. I am tuning up one of these up. And first impressions is that its very nice. About the same length as an MP5 fullstock, but less bulky. Its solid, like a thompson, it feels like it can be bashed around a bit. The Folding stock length is about 4/6-5/6 of a fully extended sliding stock, which is good for CQB. Wearing LevelIV ICW SAPI armour, the Folding stock gives the length of a fully extended rifle stock. The soft rubber buttplate is a nice touch. As with the VFC, the bolt catch works, and bolt works also. The motor is a little weak. And definately needs a better
  4. LOL, its still inexcusable to have that much movement on a structural support area. I don't mind if its a short carbine they use junk metals for the barrel, but for a long barreledn support weapon using anything short of steel mountings and barrel + a welded support structure for the bipod mounts is inexcusable. Its like having a 16" P3nis that can't get up, how disappointing
  5. Yeah the Star one...oh boy. It was greased up like a Chinese AEG, barrel was coated. Cleaned that off. Went to shoot it, was all over the place. Then shot it on prone and woah it shot out of my sight picture, up off the target. The metal bipod mount is connected to the composite foregrip, it was just flexing like no tomorrow. I took the whole assembly off and shot it as a long barrelled carbine/sniper rifle, and yay it was great. But the power was weak and the motor was a cheapass chinese motor found in my AM M4. wasn't worth the 2 cent. Yeah it starts sl
  6. How much cheaper are the kits compared to reassembled? Do they use the APS hop units and rubbers? And do they use a metal trigger unit or stock ones like the Warriors or L96s?
  7. LOL. Yeah tell me how it goes
  8. Damn was hoping to be over 350fps. Significant bush penetration ability if it did, so I can use it for a commander's weapon, but looks like I will just stick with the P90 till the MP7 comes out.
  9. Ah I see, a pin. thx For those not in Japan: Can I confirm that on propane what FPS does it go to? And accuracy wise?

Here is what I had to do to a few of the ones my team mates and I bought (ours is the original 061), these are all mods out of the box. - Add tape to the hop rubber so BBs don't fall out (20 Mins) - Clean the barrel (1 min) - Modified the bolt catch (30 mins) - Loose barrel nut mod due to a worn receiver thread (One of the M4 only) (15 mins) - Modified the bolt face and hop unit so it doesn't destroy the hop unit (preventative measures - 15 mins) - Bolt carrier reinforcement (replaced one of the pins on the bolt with a screw) (15 mins) The original mag is dead but the spa
  11. Pics of the fallen piece?
  12. My V1 cocking handle finally broke
  13. I had a few issues tuning up one. I slapped a M150 onto it, the motor sounded like it was grinding. I tuned the motor, same deal, reshimmed, same deal. The bevel gear is particulary noisy for some reason. Changing out to a guarder ITM didn't help, it wasn't still I changed to a systema that the noise decreased. Its top notch as a rifle for construction, and the only thing I can criticise aside from motor noise was the gas parts that are joined to the barrel was mounted at an angle, making the rifle look like its crooked from the receiver to the barrel. I could hit a propa
  14. Just remove the broken bit and try to reassemble. My DE has had that broken for years, I took the rattley bit out and it works fine.
  15. Yeah apparently its the hardkick.

I have more confidence in the cast WA/AGM mag than my WE mags which are wafer thin and cast, secured by 4 screws and a whole lot of superglue + tape.
  17. Here is my lightened bolt assembly, makes cycling a lot better in the cold on propane and used in conjunction with a lighter recoil spring.

Yup its a work of art that barrel, very straight and well machined indeed.
  19. Definately puts a new perspective on those pickup lines: You wanna see me *beep* my gun?
  20. LOL, Yeah Bro I signed up for something without knowing what I got into, till they told me half way through it. In saying that I know another Asian guy who also signed up for the same thing and after 6 months he had the bro'speak and everything. Really changed the fella ---------- As for the WE unmodified, yeah its about 2 mags at about 15*C, but on propane and rapid fire the cycling and recoil drops quickly between the 10th and 20th shot.
  21. Yup a weaker recoil spring does help, but not by much. The real issue is that the recoil is sluggish between 10-17*C, and while the recoil spring contributes to it, the fact that a large heavy mass + weaker recoil spring would result in a longer recoil cycle, which is not what we want. I recently bought a AGM M4 and I loved the recoil on it so I went to see why the AGM M4 gave such a wicked recoil. The AGM's have a comparatively light pot metal bolt with steel inserts where the bolt catch engages with a weaker spring. So I had a look at the lightened steel bolts for the WA, b
  22. Haha So true isn't it But the occassional colourful satirical comments do help add a spice to a conversation so long as people take it half heartedly. And yeah back to the WE, cos its so good I will try and get a pic of my mod to lighten the bolt, cos that has improved the cycling/recoil at 10*C by so much.
  23. Sooner or later if you trace back a few generations an indigenous "Taiwanese" person is probably related to me anyways, and I am a known mix of Canton Chinese, Fujian Chinese, very small portion of Melanesian and some tiny part of me from this unknown European thing. I call myself "Chinese", but I am registered under a Maori tribe. Another FYI, 10% of the world's individuals are decendents of Gengis Khan. He was either really stressed or really busy. So meh "Taiwanese" self definition is nothing more of a group of people's attempt to distinguish oneself nationalistically/poli

But how? The hammer would have to be very weak if the valve can push the firing pin AND the hammer back?
