  1. Has anyone on here tried a longer barrel? Now I've got the B&T supressor I think I'm going to get my local gunsmith to make me one to run through it.
  2. Not bothered with power - I'd just stick the original bolt in and run it on propane to get 380+ with the tightbore I have. What I want is extra accuracy. I don't think anything other than a longer barrel would make any significant difference although the updated hop sounds good. The hop unit is the only thing that's never really worked on my gun.
  3. What hop up upgrade? I see that A+ are selling a REAPS rubber for them which some seem to get good results from. I'm sceptical that it will make much difference to accuracy given that it's still only a pistol length barrel. I've just ordered the B&T silencer from JD airsoft http://www.jdairsoft.net/product/22315b36-3c68-411d-89d4-892b24e9ad3f.aspx as it really looks the nuts on the MP9. With a torch on the lower RIS rail it has could be the best performing and looking cqb weapon to date.
  4. I will once I've worked out what will fit. The mp7 barrels look favourite at the moment as there are a number of shapes and sizes available and the hop cutout looks the same. Would be nice to find someone who has tried one out.
  5. I will as soon as I identify one that will fit!
  6. I did - it's running 319 on a very hot day on green so likely to be less that on cooler(normal) day. How much difference do barrels make?
  7. Hmm - I'm ruining the low power bolt so hopefully I've got a little room. I've noticed the gbb mp7 barrels have the same cut out but can't tell if they would fit. If I could get upto 200-240 that would give a nice increase in accuracy and hopefully not blow the fps too high?
  8. Anyone found an extended inner barrel that will fit yet? The new b&t suppressor looks amazing but if I'm going to run it then a longer inner barrel is called for
  9. I've ordered a few parts direct from kwa like this and it is as straightforward as it seems: open a new query with the request to check stock and order (get the part numbers off the exploded diagram). They reply and you just email them the c/card and postage details they ask for. They reply with cost inc postage. Arrives reasonably speedily too. I've Just ordered a low power bolt as just firing too hot this time of year.
  10. Can I ask what mods you made as I'm looking to do the same/ similar to mine?
  11. Olly - have you looked at the barrel on the creation? I've noticed that the hop cutout on the top is much smaller and i'm considering cutting it larger. It might mean that the hopup is less effective as the ball bearing can't press down enough or if it does it forms a small point rather than broad depression.
  12. I've managed to knacker the hop parts and had to order spare parts from the USA as the hop rubber just twists when you increase the hop. I'm going to have a play with the bust bits to try and make an h or flat nub. I'll let you know how I get on. I already added a tightbore which made a minor improvement but have noticed that it has a smaller cut out and the hop doesn't seem to work as well with just that tiny bb. Probably not able to influence the rubber as much. Got falcon hop rubbers on route to try them as well. I must admit I don't have high hopes when the barrel is so short and the
  13. The iron sights are fine but remember it's got a barrel as short as a pistol so never going to be the most accurate. The irons are fine with the stock folded but even with just a lower mesh mask I couldn't get down to them with the stock out.
  14. Mine are fine too. Used it in very cold weather and also given it to young players without issue- both of which make plastic succeptable to snapping but no issues.
  15. Had problems with cool down on my Mp9 yesterday. Noticeable loss of power and frosting on the ejection port/ hop cover. It was around 6 degrees and got worse as temperature dropped late in the afternoon. Managed to cope by putting mags inside shirt and either holding the receiver in between games or blowing on any visible frosting until it thawed. Not ideal though. On the plus side the falcon tightbore and new hop rubber made an already fun gun much more accurate.
