Yup there is two types of hop up arms. The one that comes on early version MP5 and the newer version that is designed to use a nub. BTW guys my MP5 project.blue is done!

What nozzle are you using and are you using the OHM to press it down? Is the OHM hole filled in with a metal piece ensuring that the rubber is stiffer? Please take a picture and show us how you did the vsr10 mod.

You are doing it wrong then. I've done many mods to the hop up system and the VSR10 done properly is the best. However I'm not using maple leaf anything. I'm using the FALCON barrel + nineball gbb vsr-10 rubber purple + OHM rubber from maples. HUGE increase in range when using .25g bb.

The MP5 is steel. Not aluminum. Bluing technique with motor oil will serve as protection for the gun. For an airsoft gun, this will suffice. The Mp5 is a great shooter, since it is not shooting real rounds but airsoft bbs. As long as the rails inside are smooth with the bolt carrier, everything will remain perfect functionality.

Doing some crazy stuff to my MP5! This has been a project I've been holding back for awhile, but I finally got all the paint professionally chemically stripped. Now time for some polishing, and hot bluing! Hoping the result will be something like this.

The VFC Hop up is trash, I redone the whole thing with VSR10 fixed everything.

Is this HK3P gun fully compatible with the Marui internals? If so please let me know.

Told you guys... No one listens to me. I've tried so many combination of parts for this gun, and I have no issues after pairing the right things together.

Hammer/firing pin not pushing the release valve far enough in. The magazines are all different shape, if you noticed the release valve if they are a tiny bit off alignment it does light striking. So the best is to always use the original release valve for the mags. iF you are using the azimuth enhanced release valves then you will need to get a firing pin upgrade.
