  1. Does any other pistol uses similar hammer spring? Im thinking of getting a stronger one from somewhere.
  2. Accuarcy and range is actually good just not as good as my Marui and Im never satisfied. I've been using normal green gas(ProTech) and propane. As I have said the gun sometimes shoot normally and then just randomly it lightstrikes.
  3. Well Im kinda disappointed in my FNX. Having tried multiple buckings I just couldn't get the same accuarcy as my TM HK45 and the FNX is either incosistent or not have enough hop for heavier BBs. However it would still be a good gun until my game on last week where everything went wrong. First this happened: Note that I didn't overload the magazine or anything and I only noticed it after trying to slam the mag inside the pistol multple times. The other magazine that had constant sealing problem started leaking again. But the worse was this: the gun would randomly not shoot. As in I p
  4. Back then when I had mine I had the gas vent a few times until I figured out the problem. Sometimes when you insert the magazine into the gun it seems fine but it is actually placed incorrectly. You can confirm it by giving the magazine a light push from behind and if it clicks then it was not inserted correctly.
  5. Years ago I ordered from them some parts(no gun) and they refunded me a few days later saying something like "your country restricts airsoft guns to be imported" even tough there is no such thing in my country and I have ordered from them succesfully 2 times already before this. And a few weeks ago I ordered a part from them again and they delivered without any problems. So it's kinda weird.
  6. The UMP magazines have a horrendous design they should have just redo it. Their MP7 and 417 mags are much better or at least I didn't have any trouble with them(yet ). By the way any news about their UMP9? Maybe they can make a decent mag for it this time(well that seems to be the only difference from the outside).
  7. Aye I have a prommy 363mm in both my SCAR-H and 416. By the way I switched the hop-up rubber in my SCAR to a Lonex 50 and after chronoing I got 260 FPS(down from the previous 310-15). Does it not like the Lonex rubbers? I seem to have installed correctly the rubber did not deform in the chamber. I even took the gearbox apart but the compression was fine, swithced the spring too just to be sure. Still 260 FPS.
  8. Thanks for the video. Unfortunatelly it only worked on my 416 piston, when I tried the SCAR's it hust kept twisting but not come off. Seems like I only twist the piston head not the screw. Edit: well I managed to get it off but I had to enlarge the small hole on the piston head so I could insert a screwdriver in it.
  9. Just a quick question: how do you get the spring out of the original Marui piston? Is there a screw there or something that keeps it in?
  10. 1. Well thats for you to decide it's only for the looks really you can get great range from a 300mm barrel too. 2. AngryGun makes 6.03 steel barrels for WE gbbrs which fit the VFC ones also(altough they have a different ho-up window which is not so open as the VFC, still it works fine for me) 3. I have a 50 degree one in mine good accuarcy, tough I have fliers sometimes Im not if it is the rubber that's causing it 4. I want to get them too but they are out of stock everywhere. However I heard that some people gained FPS(up to 50 more) instead of losing some. 5. Check your nozzle maybe your
  11. As I said I took apart the mag and filed the upper part of the hole where the mag catch goes in until the magazine seat fine in the gun.
  12. I have switched the o-ring on my nozzle for a slightly thicker one and gained about 20 FPS. The default VFC rubbers suck in my experience you are better off with a new one. The inner barrel is actually 300mm long(12 inches). The gun has bolt bounce issues which might effect proper feeding of BBs(I also have random fliers). Watch for the chargind handle, mine had it's pin come off two time before I loctited it from the recoil.
  13. I have seen AR15 charging handles for 20$ or less but I guess I have to look for a different option. SR25 charging handle maybe?
  14. Do real steel M4 charging handles fit the 417? I really want to switch to something better as it tends to fly in my face at last shots.
  15. Huh I played several times in rain with my TM416 without problem. I don't even think the rain can get inside the gearbox. Are you sure there was no cable damage? I managed to damage mine several times due to the small room under the buffer nut and if the bare cabel touches anything metal(or water) it will short circuit and the gun starts shooting as soon as there is a battery on it.
  16. Yeah I have the same problem with the 417 and the MP7 both VFC, I guess it's common with the VFC gbbrs. To quote Devil-Dan from the VFC MP7 topic: "In regards to jumpy issues with auto, its because the hammer is falling before the bolt has returned to battery. Usually due to bolt bounce. Two solutions: - Increase strength of return spring. This fixed the VFC MP5 inconsistent auto issues - Use an anti-bounce buffer (made by AABB) for VFC M4/416/M27 though dunno about 417." Unfortunatelly there are no stronger recoil spring or hammer spring avaible yet for the 417.
  17. It's not necessearly the length but the width of the hole of the gas can's nozzle could be the issue. I had similar problem with my Marui MP7 mags tought that my green gas nozzle(Smart Gas) is not long enough to reach the valve, but when I used an Abbey 144a can, it reached it easily despite having the same nozzle length as the green gas can. Still if you think the length is the issue you could get something like this.
  18. A few days ago I installed a Crusader anti-rotation link on my 417 and I noticed that now I can put the gun on safe even uncocked. Strange as the gun works perfectly fine on safe, semi and full-auto, no problem with it, just weird. During installation I simply pushed the old pins out with the new ones while making sure nothing jumped out of place.
  19. This version looks great on the outside as usual, the bolt has a steel part where it connects with the bolt catch and the FCG seems to be steel. However it still uses AEG bucking and barrel by default, I tought they went VSR since their 417 uses the latter out of the box. I guess I'll try to R-hop it. While I don't have any personal experience with the previous gen magazines this one seems to be okay tough full auto fire rate seems low, but that might be the weak recoil spring's fault.
  20. Well filed the part of the mag where the mag catch goes and it now seats well and shoots fine but I will need to chrono it just to be sure(hopefully can do it Sunday). I hope mine was a specific case or they just released a magazine which doesn't work by default.
  21. VFC engineering at it's finest? So my HK416C(2015 version) just arrived. It comes with the new magazine. For some reason they switched the flash hider to a simple M4 style birdcage one. WGC was nice enough to chrono the gun before sending it to me, however they left the magazine full with gas and some BBs. After a bit of cleaning and relubing I put in the mag and shoot the gun. First shot worked fine but the second trigger pull simply let the hammer go and nothing happened. I examined what might be the problem and I found out that the mag was not seated correctly. Oh well I just push i
  22. The SCAR-L uses the same magazines as the next gen M4s, 416s. Normal AEG mags won't activate the bolt catch and you also need an adapter for them since the hop-up feed tube is much shorter on the next gens. There are also next gen Pmags(they hold 120 rounds, while the normal M4 and HK mags hold 82) but they have been out of production for a long time now and they are hard to find. Also there is a changeable barrel length by Laylax.
  23. I have a maple leaf 50 in mine(had to do a small modding otherwise it pushed the rubber one side harder than the other). Very good range and accuarcy on 0.3g BBs.
