  1. Damn Shane... That's beautiful. What T-1 is that? How do you like the reduced grip angle? I would think that'd wear on you with a long rail and such. I can see the use for a compact CQB type rifle, but on longer builds it seems like it'd get in the way.
  2. It seems you guys have already answered this question a few times, but I just want a "Yes" or "No" answer - Is Froglube safe to use on the moving metal parts of a GBBR? As in use silicon oil on the nozzle and Froglube everywhere else. Thanks for humoring me!
  3. I believe it's a FMA SEALs PEQ-15 replica? There's an operational version out there (which I suspect he has), but I found the dummy one real quickly. http://www.ebairsoft.com/peq15-battery-case-laser-sight-p-6118.html
  4. Here are a few pics from last weekend after we finished playing. I was made an honorary member of Killing Angels Airsoft team for the day as we're all big fans of MilSim and A-TACS. A big thank you to Janus Saint of KAA (far left) for taking the pictures. They came out brilliantly.
  5. Here are a few pics from last weekend after we finished playing. In case you haven't noticed, I'm that guy who likes having his picture taken in full gear. Must be the Italian side... 6. I don't know if it's the same for the G39 as it is for the M4, but I've gone as high as 525 FPS and as low as 350 with my WE AR build using the same barrel. I'm sure you can dial it in perfectly for your needs.
  7. Just a non-playing photo to test the effectiveness of A-TACS at my local large outdoor field. Even in January, it does well! This is at 13m/ 40' or so, completely unconcealed, just lying there looking at the camera man.
  8. Damn, everyone is posting gear I want! How have those Lowa's been serving you?
  9. Holy Mother of God... Please bring that to ITS in February so I can drool on it. And on a more serious note, what'd you do for the finish? Hydrotransfer? Paint? DIY?
  10. Helmet as it sits now. I still plan on adding a few items though. I'm thinking rail adaptors for Comtac IIs, Surefire helmet light, a Manta strobe, and the real Crye rails. Should be done then. Don't mind the not-so-tactical Puma hoodie. I couldn't be bothered to put on all my gear for a headshot.
  11. The question now is how the hell do you use them in the snow?! Mine gets fussy when the temperature drops below 50ºF/ 10ºC...
  12. Nice kit Fubar! Are the pants Crye or replicas? How do you like them? What PTT is that also? Quick shot of me last game I played at:
  13. Sorry to keep posting like mad in here, but I felt this warranted a post. Sorry to keep bumping this thread, but I'm just really excited today! So after an hour or so of replying to posts on other forums and lamenting how much I hate the fat black suppressor on there, I made this. It's a mock heat-shield for my suppressor since I didn't want to go to the trouble of painting it. It's modeled after the TAB Suppressor Anti-Mirrage Shield (SAS), which is designed to "... prevent mirage from obscuring your site picture after multiple shots. Eliminating mirage is accomplished by the use o
  14. Haha... I laugh because I'm one of the vain people who does. Posing for the 'kit list' photo In game, shooting lefty.
  15. Just a few now. Finally edited them. In game, shooting lefty. Posing for the forum people haha
  16. I'll pass along the kind words! We had to dremel away part of the handguard to make room for the suppressor, but it was well worth it. It's kicking out over 480 FPS now, so he's very careful where he points it. I love the Elcan on there. What do you guys think? He's not a fan... I have since painted the optic tan, so it may look better now.
  17. Stuck the black suppressor on the gun. I'll paint it later. These are the final configurations for these weapons, unless I grab an MUR receiver for the long gun. Top: Noveske Diplomat replica Bottom: M4 16" Recon rifle
  18. Anyone know what the finish on the Magpul PTS AAC SPR suppressor is made of? I want to torch it to get a "severely well loved" look, but my Surefire one didn't take to the flame at all - cooking it in the stove flames just hardened the black finish on it lol...
  19. Agreed. Modularity is good, but being ready ahead of time is better. My friend's WE G39 we painted. It's supposed to be an A-TACS type paint job, but I think we need some more color contrast in there. Still works wonders though.
  20. My buddy and I are running A+ Studio REAPS buckings - him in his WE G39 with extended tightbore and me in my WE M4 Diplomat (a 7" short barrel). Both of us run 0.30g BBs. We haven't empirically measured his range, but it's quite far and accurate. My M4 is getting about 200' out of a barrel only slightly longer than a pistol, running about 360 FPS. Accuracy is good, but I haven't empirically tested it either. We'll try and do that some time soon. In the meantime, pictures of his WE. I assisted him on the paint, mostly just advising and teaching technique. He loves this gun...
  21. Fair enough. I've been pondering the feasibility of modding RS G36 Magpul mags to fit around the internals of a WE G39 mag. If I ever do it, I'll let you lot know.
  22. Lol... No argument here mate - just a quick, civil discussion. That G36 is nice... I just can't get past the mags though. They're way too bulky for my taste.
  23. I tried roasting my Madbull Surefire the other day to get a similar effect, and it hardly did anything! Turned the black to a hardened dark, very dark gunmetal grey color. Deffo not what I had hoped for... What brand is that M4/2000?
  24. That was quick? Lol... Just kidding. I run a "heavy" recoil WE AR equipped with all the goodies you mentioned (steel barrel, PEQ, lights, etc), so for me, the thumb-break method works best. All your points are quite good, especially for someone who's never shot a real AR. Having fired a real AR myself, the thumb-break was excellent for managing recoil, and I've found that even with my airsoft gun, looking at videos of myself firing it there's hardly any recoil, but when I let someone at the field give it a go, more often than not their arms are shaking and their follow up shots are wel
  25. Passed your buddy's site on to my team. I'm sure a few of them will order from him.
