Can we get a mag report? How do the WE mags compare to TM and KJW mags? My KJ mags are worthless (and yes, I've sealed, resealed, and sealed them again and again) with my KJ P226 with upgraded recoil and hammer springs, but TM mags are able to get through an entire mag, and lock the slide back with force. I can only get about 8-10 rounds out of my KJ mags, and even then, it may not lock back. So, can anyone report?

I replaced the front sight on my KJW with a proper RS fiber sight with minimal sanding. The rear sights are a bigger PITA since there are screws that run into them holding the blowback unit in place inside the slide. I'd toss the front sight on and call it a day. Generally, that's the most important one for combat sighting. I don't often line up all three dots, but as long as my fiber dot (front) is between the two white (rear) sight dots, I'm close enough on target for a kill shot.

I need a different bipod (or I'll just run it without one), but here's my baby.

I wish it had been! I was running across a courtyard in a MOUT village when my Sig (pre-upgrades. It was fresh out of the box) leapt from my old drop leg holster and bounced around a bit. The sight was lost then, and I ordered the fiber optic one shortly after. Some sanding, grinding, and a sight push got the new one back on there, as it's just fitted into the channel, not screwed or glued down.

I was referencing the pistol FastMags, and they're downright awful. I've moved the bands all over, held them in my hand and squeezed it as tight as possible, and it still won't grip the way I need it to. Given that the .556 versions are solid though, I'll snag some of those shortly.

I have RS ITW FastMags as I didn't want to have my WE GBBR mags falling out when I ran them upside down (I bought the pistol knock-off FastMags first. Bad idea... They do work amazingly well with MP5 mags though!). I may pick up a set of the Gen 3 replicas and do a little comparison. You guys keep speaking highly of them, so I'll give it a shot soon...

Sponging can be extremely effective. I did mine before I saw the video, but I followed roughly the same idea...

Me after my last outing. Kits being modded some more this week. Adding a battle belt, headset, balaclava, and Oakley goggles.

Can anyone make any recommendations on mods to do to the Z Tactical Comtac IIs to make them more reliable, sound better, and more durable? I was going to swap out the main cable (headset to PTT cable) with a Monster type cable and resolder the connection points, but I'm looking for other options for DIY improvements.
