WE magazines aren't cross-compatible with TM out of the box. Might be with some mods, but I'm not sure on that. The slide and the slide internals are fully cross-compatible. I'd go for the TM. For me, the point of the WE is it's a cheap full metal gun. If you're going to start putting aftermarket kits on, why risk having a gun the kit wasn't designed for?

It is one of the most comfortable pistols I've held. Wish I could ask some questions, or point out some flaws, but I've had one of these for a while and it's superb.

I'll take a USPc over a G19 any day. Fits my hand so much better, and who doesn't love a decocker?

Just noticing the number of sales threads being closed for breaking the one joule rule, I was wondering if it would be possible to have a message pop up each time someone starts a thread in the Sales subforum? It would just need to say something like "What velocity is your gun firing at?" If the person clicked "328 fps with .2 or less" they would be free to continue. If they clicked "Over 328 fps with .2" they'd be directed to the rules, then electricuted. Or something. Not sure how practical it is, just a thought.

Word. There's a forum for The Box O' Truth which would probably handle most people's RS needs, for instance. Now a Transformers subforum, on the other hand...

I'm sure, but this is hardly the time to be discussing musical instruments, is it? I've got one of the CRKT M16 range (M16-13Z), great knife. Not expensive, just a decent knife. Easy one hand operation, seems to hold an edge well, and I like the added safety of the LAWKS system.

Doesn't that defeat the point of a forum? At the moment, if you want info on a TM, CA, whatever gun, you've got a good chance of turning it up in a search. If you want info on a clone, you have to wade through a 100+ page monstrosity. As for multiple threads popping up, I presume you haven't noticed this happens anyway? What happens is the mods lock them. Pretty simple.

Anyone else agreeing with this? When that thread started, there were one or two decent clone guns coming out. Now, I think we need to acknowledge that there are too many guns to be covered by one thread. So could it be locked, and people encouraged to discuss guns in the relevant areas (News, General Discussion, Technical, etc)?

Really, it comes down to common sense. I'll happy run green gas through Tanaka revolvers whatever the weather. But something like the Maruzen PPK/S GBB, which always seemed ready to fly apart on green, I'll stick to 134a.

Gotta say, the "I don't use it, so let's close it" view seems a little... selfish. I don't use quite a few of the subforums, does that mean they should be closed? As the VCRB forum is still with us, the answer appears to be "No."
