Well theres posts about the servers struggling and the need to delete the flop sum and when someone points out the dead branches you call it spam. For the sake of 6 posts you remove 70. As I have said. I'm not a squirmisher I re enact. I came to to find info on that side, hence my asking on the FN FAL thread. Also the info on WW2 items. As for 'building it up again' I'm not sure the response to this 'humongous over posting problem' has given me any encouragement to carry on here.

Its not spamming. I went to look at shops 'recommended' by the forum only to find most of them had closed down. I wasted ages, If someone had bothered to either 'delete' them or mark the fact the shop had closed I would have been grateful. I would have thought other would have when arriving here as well.

What about a paypal donation system to get into FS. Pay a fiver and this then verifies you name and address.

What about allowing a For Sale/Wanted section for spares and accesories then and leave the weapons section for only 50 posts ?

Buying with Paypal shouldn't be a problem, Don't use the 'Gift' option as you are not covered by any buyers protection scheme. Always ask for an address and a land line number and phone at night to speak to them.

Provided you know what you are talking about. Just seems a strange requierment to me. One I'll probably not forfill and will make me use other forums. I know its not a 'shop' . but buying second hand to start a new hobby is a decent way to try it out at a lower cost. People join forums for many reasons. I joined to see the going prices for whyats out there and maybe get something I can afford. But ho hum. Theres plenty of other forums about.

Needing 100 posts before you see classified is to me counter productive to bringing ppl into the foirum. I came here as a newbie to buy a gun, learn about prices and whats out there. Now as a total 'neewb' I don't have 100 posts worth of anything yet. Seems a shame to me to waste an opotunity to atract new players and forum members.
