Well I have yet to test mine, as I put the wrong screws on it on Thursday (go me) So if I get a chance tomorrow, I'll dump 5 mags and see how it do I'd love a real one, but a little overkill.
-
well if delta does get a black one, we can do a quick swap for the sake of a picture.
-
i have less than 1mm of play in mine. check the spring that connects the hop and outer barrel.

Initial Impressions of the TM SOPMOD M4 AEG

Super easy to swap over uppers. And they aren't cheap, plus swapping the upper isn't going to change the fps much, still a one piece GB. RichardY (poster above yours) runs www.eagle6.com which is the place to go in the UK for recoil spares. -

Yeah i totally get that, dont get me wrong thats what counts. My opinion (more of my own gear mind) is that i like things to look different. To be different. Meh. It is what it is. -

Thing is though, it doesnt look special. -
LC's engineering outpost (on FB) can make you one relatively cheap. its 16mm +ve (16x1mm i think)

Well, fixed the leaky mag, blowtorch and a gluegun just about sorted it (well its holding black gas, so 200+ psi) Tidied up the holster, works well. And the gun cycles well with a tracer (emptied the mag and locked) So i will be fettling with the osprey to fit a tracer system into it, most likely a permanently on one (switch of course)

Looks like it should do! (With the middle section)

i got a quick response when asking how to turn the bloody thing on, turns out it was what i mentioned above as to why it wouldn't power on. i suppose they dont mind the questions, but avoid the problems.

have fun getting it set right so that there's no pressure on the battery, because its hell. the slightest push on it, and dead.
-
probably, i'm going to trim these two down, if i don't even try to use them, they'll just get lost
-
i was looking at real ones, but they're a little out of my price range! the azimuth ones are about 2mm too short and the others i have are just a tad too long, and push the plate off the gun
-
my dot is round, and the glass is tinted correctly. key thing is that it's holding zero. but i have no screws that are the right length, if you put pressure onto the battery it cuts out. so i need to trim the longer screws down, and ill have to live with the gap from the o-ring

Fobus EMG 20/21 (the last is alongside another emg 20/21)
-
On a better note, 15 mins with a dremel and i have my holster.
-
Ace1 on the left. (Ignore the white stuff in the Right one. Its superglue.) EDIT: it would appear that the ACE 1 is DOA... EDIT2: battery connector bent slightly. Working.
-
Ill do a side by side in a second!
-
Well the ace1 rmr arrived. The rail mount is neat. The rmr is definately not as clean as the one from ehobby. Hopefully its a nice performer
-
However, in absence of my APL, ive "improvised"
-
Well im one mag down. Never going to find a replacement for that o ring
