I was just visiting yesterday and indeed confirmed the above, a juicy parts list fit to make anyone's head spin... my plan to kidnap the finished article is underway... ahem, did I say that out loud...? -
The venting happens on mine too after a few seconds - just keep filling for around 30 seconds. I know we all hate to see gas spewing out the top. I think Aod covered this earlier in the thread, but you can change the o-rings or something in the fill valve and it'll stop the fountaining effect. Just keep going for about 30 seconds and the mag will be filled. Enjoy!

I certainly wouldn't pay the full retail price of the BOLT if i had the choice. As far as other BOLT issues than the ones mentioned on internals...The faux moving bolt smashed itself off it's hook so that doesn't work on mine. I no longer have a faux bolt plate. To be honest, it was deforming itself against the ejection port anyway. On my brother's SR47 the plate is extremely deformed and I expect it'll probably snap off soon, too. Ejection port cover doesn't close properly either. Pretty minor stuff, but for near the same price an ERG could be bought or a second hand recoil shock rifl

Are you using TM shells only or another brand? I found the TM shells to be the only reliable feeding shells (and in particular the white ones, as those are the only ones I have access to at the moment). Clone shells from ASG / Double Eagle seems slightly smaller in diameter and don't feed very well at all. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes they don't feed or work erratically as you mentioned above!

Yep the stock on my SCAR H is very squeaky. For mine if you squeeze the stock gently near where it pivots for the cheek rest, that's where the sound usually comes from. I messed around with it a bit and bracing that area with a rubber band seems to help a little but I couldn't really eliminate it. A small niggle that I can overlook as the rest of the gun is amazing. As far as the hinge, I don't think it's important. I think it's some kind of wire guide for the battery - does swinging it out and over the battery after installation not give enough space for you? I could almost squeeze -

Skirmished by BTC Spectre'd SCAR for the first time at one of my favourite CQB sites, yesterday. Wow - what a transformation. Just to give a bit of context on my post, this was the previous set up for the gearbox of my G&G SCAR L AEG. SHS 13:1 Gears G&G Strong Motor (High Torque) AirFet mosfet 7.4v 2200mah 35c battery All the standard fuse, wiring and electrical gubbins (including the sliding pin connectors in the stock) Deans connectors Trigger response was "Good" in the most plain terms. I just picked one of these up (and a SCAR H funnily enough) at the British Airsoft Show over the weekend. The scope is amazing for the price - very good eye relief and extremely clear. Just waiting on a LaRue mount and I'll be a happy puppy. -

My brother has used them a few times without issues. Should be fine, bearing in mind the usual caveats around buying from HK (you may have to wait a while, and be prepared to exercise your buyer protection if needed ).

Hey Onizuka, Thanks to your tutorial I've got my M870 working again! I even managed to align the shell carrier correctly with the pins sitting flush. Thank you once again for your help, I really appreciate it!

Thank you Onizuka-sensei! (Loved GTO!) I did a part disassemble as per the video above and had a look, it's just an issue of aligning the reciever and the inner workings as you have mentioned. I'll fiddle around with it half cocked etc and hopefully I'll be able to sort it. Thank you again for your input! EDIT: New problem now - in between fitting and removing the trigger block the gun has been put in "cocked" mode -- that is the slide no longer pumps back. I've tried to use the trigger block to release it, but it isn't working. Any idea which lever or switch it is to release the

Just received my G&P shell carrier, but am having trouble getting the extended pins to go through the trigger block holes. Is there any particular trick to doing this or should I just reach for the rubber mallet? Thanks! EDIT: In the end to save pieces going missing, I bolted up the carrier with a slight offset to the body and it seems to be holding OK. The trigger block is still a bit wobbly, but I assume that's because I haven't completed the install 100% correctly as yet, so still after some advice and guidance! Additionally, is there any way to adjust the retention on the

There was a news item on Airsoft World (where we purchased both our rifles in the UK) that the UK versions were detuned and not meant to be run in 11.1v lipo - as the much weaker spring (FPS was about 330-340fps I think) meant a much high cyclic rate than intended and therefore more heat & wear. I was running mine on 7.4v and my brother for a short period until it died was on 11.1v -- not sure if this had any impact, but two lemons is not good news. If you read Aod's superb review of the internals, you'll get an idea of possible pain points. Mine has had: - a whole new gear set (essential repairs to bevel gear which was worn, rest was upgrading to more solid gears) - Upgraded motor to SHS Hi Torque - Airfet Mosfet installed This has given it very good trigger response and an increase to ROF. The standard motor is actually pretty good, so that isn't essential to change - but I've always have very good results from the SHS motors.
