    Finally joined the M4 Owner's Club. Bit of a rushed photo, but I have to say -- I'm in love! Can't wait to skirmish this one for the first time tomorrow!

    Sold my Skyline, even a TM Recoil Shock doesn't quite make me happy at the moment. Wahhhh .. such a wimp! lol :(

      lol Silver mate, don't! :) I'd love a go in any of those motors, they're all dreamy. Especially the E-Type (Sorry Diablo!) I'm not sure, will probably replace it with something humdrum for lugging kit to skirmishes. Sad times. :( I don't think I can really afford to buy and run an RS6 Avant, but if I could... I so would. :)

      He went out and bought an Astra van which promptly had a gearbox explosion lol. It was a fine beast but at least when he comes home at 2am he doesn't wake me up with the stupidly loud exhaust!

    Cheers mate - that's just the kind of feedback I was after! OK - bi tof a disaster, had my mate run to check out the SOCOM. He tried to pop a G&G crane stock onto the TM stock pipe, but the little tab on the end cap prevented it sliding on nicely -- he forced it on (ARGH) and sheared the end cap right off. I'm guessing it help stop rotation of the screw at the end of the stock tube. It still cycles OK and the recoil shock mechanism still works, but I'm just looking for some advice on whether this is OK for now or a BIG deal? As in, is it likely to unscrew and eject the reco

    Finally part of Club Recoil Shock! Picked up my SOCOM today. In love with the simulated recoil and the bolt catch is fun, fun, fun! Quite like the EBB as well. Plenty of bits bits coming in soon (stock, rail covers, foregrips, etc). Can't wait! Thanks for the tip on Battleaxe mags, fortunately the package I bought came with a stack of mags so I should be OK for now. They are boggo STANAG magazines though.     OK must be different then, as the Beta Project ones have body coloured tops! Hoping to have my own SOCOM real soon, can't wait... been browsing this thread for ages trying to kill time.

    There are also the Beta Project 75 rounders PMAGs with windows. Not sure if they're also made by A&K, though.

    Preach it! Shame the situation with PTS may mean we won't be seeing any new SOPMOD Magpul magazines ever again!

    Oh, I totally agree with you - I love the idea of having to use the bolt catch! Just on occasion I may want to use other mags I already have, which include Flash and PMAGs. Also, I would love to get some of those sexy, sexy Lancer L5 mags. That...and, I know at some point during an open skirmish I'll start to adopt a "if you can't beat them, join them" mind set when it comes to high caps. x) Sad, I know.... I'm already looking for ammo restricted games...

    Hi folks, Just a quick query about magazine adapters for these rifles so you can use regular AEG magazines. How are they fitted? They look like push-fit extensions - just wondered how secure they are (will they fall off in a skirmish) and if there are any feed problems with them? I did run searches both forum wide and on this topic specifically, so apologies if these points have already been addressed somewhere. Cheers!

      Having only ever seen the inside of one gearbox, it's mostly wasted on me -- but I do know I really, really fancy playing a CQB site soon!

      Same, it just feels like a case of trying to make a potentially valid point and having it come off wrong. Still it is not the best way to be as really you can't do much about it and just whining without action doesn't get much done. :(

      That's what I'm hoping for RC! The local shop here has staff that own at least 3 Recoil Shock models which I've played with -- hoping the ERG comes into stock soon so I can compare. :)

      I've never owned a KWA anything before, so it'll deffo be a learning experience for me -- Can you get down to a shop for some hands on? :-) I really hope the recoil lives up to the hype!
