  1. Holes don't line up, and it doesn't have a buffer thing which the WE one does for the mp5k-pdw, I did send them off to get it fitted though, it should just be the case of drilling some holes and making a buffer, but it's no drop fit. *fyi I'm doing it all because of (WE) on the stock is unacceptable for me, (HK) is much better.
  2. For what it's worth VFC MP5K-PDW folding stock is not compatible with the WE MP5K-PDW, just thought I'd throw it out there.
  3. It's possible to make a vfc handguard work with the TM, but you need to either buy a new TM barrel nut and machine it down to fit, or just have one made from scratch.
  4. These aren't bad, I've opened it up and managed to nudget it around to make it zero to where I want, I'm not convinced that it will hold under strong recoil so I'll probably try to reinforce it a little, but it's easy to disassemble and easy to "understand", for the price and the features (if you care for IR and the fact that it's this model), it's a pretty good choice.
  5. I really want a steel slide CO2 Arsenal Strike One to go with the Zenitised ware..

  6. Yeah, wasn't aware there's a real steel clone of RMR yet!
  7. I don't think your red dot is going to last very long.. lol

Very nice! I'll be getting one myself when RA-Tech's steel slide is released which they've already shown prototypes of, with the slide being so small compared to other pistols, I should hope even a steel slide would make negligence difference in performance in slightly colder days, and there's always co2 mags.
  9. :/ You did say you filed it for hours it's strange though, shouldn't take a huge amount of filing for it to run okay, are you sure the nozzle guide is okay? Maybe that's broken?
  10. The post had been deleted but according to summary on Facebook it's essentially some tolerance issue, the guy tried to get help from WGC where he bought it from, got no help, tried to get a replacement from GHK and obviously didn't get it, why he didn't just go and buy some sandpaper I have no idea. He then posted a really harsh post on Armscool and it escalated. All sounds quite petty to me, and I've long accepted that airsoft is not like other things where you buy something and expect it to work without at least having to do some work... it's a nice surprise when that happens, but I don't ex
  11. My GHK M4 also has some very crude machine mark internally, namely the bolt group and some of the trigger parts, but the gun works really well regardless... but still... since when is it acceptable to take legal action against online biatching? Unless the user is claiming that the magazines will explode and maim all users, or that all paint they use contain high concentration of lead... it seems way way overkill, and really leaves a bad taste in my mouth about GHK.. and I own 4 of them..
  12. This is slightly off topic but since I don't have any solid information to start a new thread, what the heck is going on with GHK? They have apparently taken legal action against some guy name Gainax (forum ID) on Armscool for essentially writing a bad review of their product (however baseless or factual, seems besides the point), GHK has proceeded to post such action, seemingly proudly, on their Facebook page, what the heck is going on? Do they live in a cave or something? You don't sue someone for writing a review on a forum....?
  13. Ummm. Mine bottoms out way before it gets to where I want it for left / right... /_\ also on a GHK it occasionally turns itself off and I have to re-click the button, weirdly not when I'm shooting it, and it looks like even the the laser is pointing in the wrong place, it holds up okay. Will have to open it up and see if there's anything I could do with the zero issue.
  14. Yeah feel like Surefire was missing a trick... especially with the popularity of tacticool AK in the US these days.
  15. Man.. that's such a rude question, I often try to bury that sort of things in the deepest recesses of my brain on a few of my "builds"...
  16. Yeah that's how Bunnyworkshop do their gun as well, when you get a GHK AK from them, they always include a piece of rubber, about 5mm thick, at the back in front of where that piece of plastic is, for me the benefit isn't necessarily the increased ROF, but the fact that you don't hear the rattling of that block anymore.
  17. Yeah I got the AEG Ultimak style gas tube rail to work with it, what you need to do is just shim it a little so the piston can cycle without getting stuck (or it could be a dropfit, depends on your luck)
  18. Yeah so when you fill it with a tank it recharges the used up cartridge, so essentially you have changed nothing except for the fill valve, so as far as pressure is concerned, if anything would fail it'd be that, but a little valve shooting out or venting out doesn't sound so bad.
  19. A normal Co2 mag only holds CO2 at the cartridge and the narrow route that leads it to the knocker valve afaik, so that the seal around the piercing pin valve and the lip of the cartridge is what seals it, not the chamber that holds the cartridge itself. That said, GHK has a separate chamber, and I don't actually know of the top of my head whether co2 enters that chamber the second it's pierced, interesting if it does as that somehow kills my irrational fear. As for the grip, have you tried Rusmilitary?
  20. Yeah that's been suggested as well on the DH thread, you'd have to replace the knocker valve and filler valve, it does work, but it just makes me feel funny doing it, for superstitous reasons I just perfer o keep the bulk of the liquid co2 in a capsule designed to do just that, where as the relatively large surface area and thin silver tube that was meant to hold green gas might hold up fine, until it doesn't... :S Again, it's been proven to work, but I just prefer not to for ease of mind.
  21. I pretty much always buy recoil kit for GBBs, however sometimes I end up not using it for guns that can't afford to have it due to efficiency. If there's a gun that can afford to lose a little efficiency for some extra kick... it'd have to be this one
  22. Quite sure it's nothing like the real one, looks like a 2.5mm jack to me.
  23. Hey guys, finally got mine, it's pretty nice externally actually, considering what I paid for it, I'm pretty happy so far. Testing with NVG, I instantly notice something, the IR laser's spectrum is actually overlapping with red still, so with the naked eye you can actually see a very faint red laser, where as with NV you can see the rest of the IR range, so it's pretty bright. The visibility of the laser is actually enough to give your position away I'm quite sure in a really dark environment where people without NVs are likely to have adapted a better night vision, but this is airsoft, so rea
