    John Wick 1 and 2.... The TTI AR / 416 primaries build are in progress too.

    but 0.68 rubber paintball weighs different than a wad + 12bbs, where as a wad with 12bbs taped up, is practically the same weight, so the speed of the whole mass accelerated by the same propellant would be the same? It only slows down once it's down range with air resistance, but at the muzzle, they should be the same?

    Trouble with that is the Makarov disassembles by pulling the trigger guard down, so you would have to take the light mount off every time you want to adjust hop up..

     

    *actually, thinking about it, it wouldn't, depending on how big it is, if it's done slim enough you could just pull the light + mount down when you need to access the hop unit / internals, so it might not be stable enough to hold a perfect zero for laser, but for light it would do just fine.

    Dominator is (way) better because it has more realistic dissassembly, and for the whooping low price of $399 usd, it's FULL STEEL. 

     

    CRW is charging around $190 usd to mod the gun to take APS shell, which is pretty steep, but according to some people I know in HK IPSC / 3gun scene, making the gun work with APS requires a fair amount of work and isn't just the case of removing an inner barrel, so what they're asking isn't extortionate (so they explained to me). I'm considering this quite seriously ever since seeing it this morning.

    I think it's just for the correct height so that the wad sits in the same place as the previous gen 1 shell. 

     

    The thing is this doesn't have to be accurately CNC or have tight tolerances, it isn't even holding gas anymore, I was really hoping the shells for the gen 2 to be cheap enough to not mind if you lost one, but at basically 1/2 cost, I for some reason don't feel that it's justified, where as the gen 1 shell's price I can fully understand (and happily paid for). 

     

    Oh well, it's all talk anyway, not like I'd be getting any of the gen 2s considering how few rounds it fires on a single charge.

    Ohnoes, is it one of those PK-23 esque blinking dots? They really hurt my eyes after a while.

     

    I haven't looked through a PK-23 so I can't comment, but it's only noticeable when you move the gun / sight really quickly, I've seen this effect on other cheaper real steel red dots such as Burris fast fire.
