  1. Are you pulling it with your finger tucked into the "hinge"? so you are pulling from the part of the handle that's closest to the gun rather than the end, for me it's quite easy to pull it back if I do it that way, but if I pull the outer part of the handle, it feels like I might snap the handle before it moves.
  2. Didn't really want to start a new thread, but what's the light blue marker a lot of people use for the "issue number" mark? Not even sure what to google as I just kept getting normal markers... thanks!
  3. I've pretty much bought any metal nozzle I could find for most of my GBBs... they do require a bit of filing to ensure they work perfectly, but I swear by metal nozzles, when people have their bb's smashed up, it's more to do with the chamber and feeder alignment. As for cool down... I'm can't see it being affected.. at least not on a level where it's noticeable, metal doesn't make things cold, it simply conducts better, so on a cold day, you could argue the environment inside the nozzle would reach the temperature of its surrounding quicker than a plastic one, but it also means it warms quick
  4. For those who aren't familia, one of my favourite up and coming airsoft accessory company "Wii-tech" is producing an aluminium CNC nozzle for the Kriss, I have just contacted them about it and they said they already had plans for it and will be releasing them late March early April. I've got their CNC nozzle for the TM XDM, which is absolutely fantastic, they aren't straight clones, so the design had been simplified and reinforced (no funny bits with tiny screw on top like the standard TM design, they've gone for a more GHK AK style nozzle, spring, valve and pin) So that's good news for anyone
  5. I'm getting the vipe that this was my fault...? Can't recall any nozzle breaking from any of my other GBBs... besides... it's hard to overload a KWA magazine since if I load it to the max, the loader button won't disengage even if I press it as the BBs are still pushing it back.. am I alone in thinking that something is wrong with my gun... lemon nozzle? I mean... it did break with less than 50 rounds..
  6. Nope, it broke half way through firing a magazine rather than first shot.. *edit* semi-auto for what it's worth...
  7. Fired less than 50 rounds in total... lookie lookie
  8. Perhaps buy an RA-Tech co2 valve for KJ co2 mags? Should be compatible? They have it in stock in Airsofttaiwan, I got a few but I still haven't installed them.

    WE XDM

I got the storm lake barrel as well with the 14mm+ (who the hell still does + threads... it's so annoying), had to get a + silencer for it, it seems to be secure enough if I just hold the adapter while twisting the silencer on, sometimes almost twisting the two in opposite direction... or just use some thread lock to stick the adapter with the silencer, it's not a permanent fix anyway and is strong enough for this purpose for sure.

    WE XDM

Yeah I own WE GBBRs, my RA-Tech upgraded SCAR is one of my favourate, and it's not like there is a better alternative for that gun. They do require a good amount of internal upgrades though parts are readily available, but when it comes to pistol for me, if they are cloning a gun by a Japanese company, I'd usually just go for the original, like the XDM or PX4. Their new M&P looks fairly promising especially after the correct marking version is released, and since M&P is the current Taiwanese police's carry gun, it might mean that they were able to model it off that.

    WE XDM

Yeah NonEx, knowing you and your taste in nothing but the best, I was confused why you went for the WE XDM, the Marui one is only $70 more, but performs like a dream with better compatibility with Japanese third part upgrade companies' products... and since you're getting a metal slide anyway, the original plastic of the TM wouldn't be an issue at all..... !
  12. I usually go with Zahal.com with Israeli stuff if they have it in stock, every now and then they do free shipping for some items, and they are really quick to respond.
  13. Thing is the Nova frame or slide are CNC aluminium, while the real steel counterpart is steel, RA-Tech is the only company that produces a blued steel exterior for the gun... Like NonEx I spent a lot more cashish after the initial $850 just to make all the parts steel, also my front sight was horrendously loose, I'm planning to drill a hole on the slide just so that I can tap a grub screw which I then use to secure the front sight (from the inside), anyone else has that problem?
  14. That's basically why I tried shining my laser at the BBs thinking what potential it might bring, but unfortunately neither red or green laser lit up the green BBs at all, I guess I'll have to find that old ps3 of mine and see if I can extract the bluray diode, I was thinking we might not even need to mirror it, if we manage to shine a laser into the barrel from an angle, the shiny surface of the inner barrel will do all the work at lighting the BB, but until I test out blue laser, so far the other two colours don't work at all.
  15. This is somewhat off topic but I don't really want to start a new thread asking this, does anyone know why normal green tracer BBs can't be lit up by laser? I've tried both red laser and green laser, shining directly at a bottle of BB, none of them light up, and I haven't got access to a blue laser I can't test that one out, but by process of elimination that seems to be the only thing left, anyone knows the science behind glow in the dark material?
  16. Doesn't sound too promising after this review, I might wait for Real Sword's version afterall, even if it might be 3x the price...
  17. Right, back from the Sunday game, the day was so hot @ 32c in the UK, and I had gone through about 7 full mags today under this heat, towards the end I went outside and just emptied everything as far as I could pull the trigger, which adds another 2 mag worth of firing, in rapid succession, but still no sign of nozzle explosion (for those who are wondering why it seems like I'm trying to break my XDM, well, in a way, I am, because I bought 2 reinforced nozzles after hearing everyone's nozzle issue, don't want to use them until the original fails!), ran on propane (Coleman with Airsoft innovati
  18. Can't wait till they get to shops over here, hope they will release more and more different colours in .20, can't wait to do rainbow arrangement full auto at night... might take a while to load, and would probably annoy everyone in milsim games by shooting streams of unicorn at people.
  19. Have used Land Warrior around 5 times, one time being a real sword type 56-1, didn't have any issue, quick delivery etc, but to be honest LWA doesn't need my defense to set this straight, everyone who's been around the sport for a short while knows they are reliable anyway.
  20. Okay, after all the fear mongering I went off and bought not one but two airsoft surgeon reinforced nozzle for my TM XDM when it was released, but my original TM nozzle has yet to explode on me, the other week I was playing a game on one of the hottest days this summer in the UK (at around 28c!), and I will use it again tomorrow. I ran it on propane as usual using airsoft innovation propane adapter.. I'm starting to suspect the failures people have been experiencing are due to a bad batch.. As for why I choose propane / green, well, while I don't care for the extra 30fps, the gas is cheaper (a
  21. Any chance for a magnet test? Curious to know what's steel and what isn't!
  22. May I ask why you'd buy a replica when you already have a real one? Worried about BB lens damage or some other reasons?

    Winning

I have fired an AR15 before... but I can't say I have fired an AR15 with 10 mags attached to it, it's just the thumbnail looks like he was going all out, but when I watched the video it was very underwhelming... I mean... atleast throw a slidefire on it.
  24. Yeah I don't suppose they would just fit together, but I was wondering more in terms of if someone were to be determined enough, wonder if it's possible, don't really want to get both the gun and the kit to find out it's physically impossible due to something like gearbox width being too thick to even fit through the stamped receiver etc.
  25. I'd really want to get one of these but it's unfortunate that there are practically no aftermarket parts for it! Due to the wide range of full steel AKs out there.... I find it really difficult to go back to an aluminium / zinc gun... but the recoil feature sure sounds good as I'm a SOPMOD owner too... let's hope one day they'll make an AK with fire stop feature where it fires again only when someone pulls the charging handle after a fresh mag. *edit + question* Does anyone know how possible it would be for someone with a next-gen TM AK to fit a LCT AKS74U kit to it? Obviously it won't be
