What didn't you like about the finish? I'm tempted to get one of the silver ones, but if WEs silver isn't good then maybe not..
-
Thanks! Strangely my TM came with the FN logo on the grip rather than the fake intertwined 'TM' logo that most of them come with. Anyone else have one with correct grip markings?
-
Isn't that a model 10? The M60 is a stainless J Frame.
-
Are they real S&W factory grips? Authentic square butt N Frame grips seem pretty pricey nowadays!
-
Gotta say my Tanakas have taken Green Gas just fine - it took a lot of courage (or stupidity..) to fill them with Green but they are holding fine, even the little J Frame, and gives a lot more pop when fired. Had them filled with Green for about 2 weeks now, no leaking etc. In regard to retailers and refunds, I can't imagine them being very helpful unless you only used 134a. I'm surprised of deformation with Abbey Ultra ect. though, never had a magazine leak or any issues with it, not too powerful so the gas tank must be pretty structurally weak.

Not really, no. Same goes for 'Dan Wesson' Co2 revolvers. There are elements of S&W like the crane and cylinder release, random ugly hammer and weird elongated frame that aren't seen on any real guns, not to mention those nasty grips. I love it when people think they're actually Dan Wesson replicas, nothing alike at all.

Wouldn't they have made something more interesting, HK416c maybe? At least something that betters the design. Sticking some ugly stuff on that will double the price does not count as an upgrade.

Pistol grip looks nice and thin.

S&W Model 19, S&W Model 442 Airweight - ignore the Series 70.

Thanks, quick update with new grips:

Tanaka Model 19 Steel Finish, got some Pachmayr Compact Pro grips on the way: Tanaka Model 442 Airweight with S&W factory dymondwood grips:

I should hope so!

Thanks LCT do an AK105/104 kit actually, to turn a full size recoil AK into essentially what I own. I was planning on getting an Ak74mn and adding the kit, but it would have become expensive pretty quickly once I got mags and a suitable chest rig, so I got a forum member to combine his broken AK74mn and working Ak102 and sell it to me! Came to just under £400, so not that cheap, but worth it to me! Some company called 'Dynamic Star' also seem to make a similar kit. http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=LCT-FM11&search=special&rs=l

TM Recoil AK105 (It's just an AK102 with '74 furniture on, so not a true AK105 especially with the 5.56mm magazine...) with a Kobra.

I wonder why nobody makes some polymer encased Glock mags. I suppose it would result in a very light gun, but it's always annoyed me how people say about their guns needing lots of metal (where metal is found on the RS), but forget that a lot of parts on their replica are metal, but shouldn't be, pistol mags for example.. I know somebody makes polymer Hi Capa mags, but why not plastic exterior Glock magazines etc?

CYMA AKMS (Wood/Steel VFC Clone) and a TM Based AK105 (AK102 with AK74mn furniture) In case anyone was wondering, the shape of the mag is due to it being a 5.56x45 style export magazine, rather than the 5.45x39 an AK105 should have. I only use the export mag because they seem kind of rare.

contact WE directly - they sell loading nozzles for $12 or so.
-
Worked for me too. Good fix and very easy to work on.
-
Mine has started to fire in bursts occasionally too. Does the fix actually fix it?
-
Got my Compact. Really nicely made, better than my KWAs, but the loading nozzle has already snapped at the rear...
