  1. Awesome! The original suspension configuration was well designed, so we didn't have to hack anything up. It had a rear triangulated 4 link. Up front it had dual A arms. We just upgraded the quality of the hardware, and used Eibach springs with Bilstein shocks. The ride is nice and firm without being very stiff. Haven't really tried any hardcore driving yet since I'm still breaking in the engine, brakes and rest of vehicle. I'm extremly pleased with the outcome
  2. Thanks Here's some more pics of some of the details.
  3. Here's my new aquisition/creation. Lots of sweat and tears. 1969 Chevrolet El Camino Corvette LS1 engine 400hp Currie 9 inch rear axle Brembo Brakes Shaved door handles One piece side windows Removed all the trim and spot welding on the bed, as well as rain gutters on windows Integrated rear bumper into roll pan and custom european license plate recess Modified front bumper 1965 El Camino taillights Additional lights to meet European standards Custom rims with matching steering wheel Custom leather ineterior with bucket seats
  4. Here's my 2003 Harley Davisdon VROD. 265 rear tire. Full Carbon fiber skins and fuel tank. Berringer 6 piston brake calipers. Xenon head light. LED tailight and turn signals. This was made long before Harley came out with similar models. Kinda annoyed me after all the hard custom work. Details of the paint job so you can see the carbon fiber.
  5. Why is it so hard to believe that somebody could be doing so well that he can afford such vehicles. By the way, that's not a Vanquish S. It's a regular Vanquish.
  6. Thanks Shame the rest of the clan wasn't around. Credit goes to our Captain, the guy on the left. He's the one that made sure that we were true to the USMC.
  7. Here's a pic after a training session. Shame we don't have anyone to take action pics too.
  8. I'm going to have to agree with you there. If changing anything on an L85 is a blasphemy, then what is the point of this thread? Might as well just stick the pictures from STAR's page, since all the weapons are going to be the same. If I can't somehow modify my SUSAT, I can guarantee you I will be changing it with an ACOG. I will also be doing what Sid did and adding a flash light, only underneath.
  9. Mine isn't painted. It's the colour of the plastic. That goes for all the parts. I might go ahead and paint some parts after seeing some of the great paint jobs I've seen.
  10. If you look carefully, the front part is "T" shaped. You slip two fingers, one on either side, parallel to the mag. Just as you would hold any type of "T" handle. Like the bolt cocking lever on your M4/M16. Your thumb rest on the other end, back of mag, where the is a small indent just for it. Works great, if you practice reloads. You can get those plates separately, or buy the full aeg mag. Cheaper to get the plates.
  11. This ones going to be interestting since there aren't that many variations to the weapon. I'd love to see what people come up with to get ideas. It would be great to see someone do a paint job on one.
  12. Magz replied for me. The grips fit perfectly with no mods.
  13. Thanks It was an M15 SPC and added the crane stock. The flash hider I found in WGC. Reminded me of my IPSC days. http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...0c0ce3557e74b22
  14. Here are some pics of my version of an M15. I didn't thow on the usual flashlights, lasers, AN/PEQ2, etc.. This is my everyday skirmish setup. I only thorw on the other stuff if it's for show.
  15. The CA flash hider is positive like Static said.
