  1. Nice looking bits of kit, what brand is that?. Are they compatible with dropleg platforms? I hate wearing things on my waistline. Darkchild
  2. Thanks, guys, but Asian stuff never fits me unfortunately. Darkchild
  3. Dammit, they will be in Asian sizes, they don't cater for skinny waists and long legs. Darkchild
  4. Dude, where did you get those crye style pants in Woodland?
  5. Absolutely fantastic, retention is adjustable, it is rock solid and doesn't move at all on my leg. I switched out the short malice clips for long ones as I'm long limbed and the supplied length would ride too close to my waist for my liking. But other than that it's superb. I'm planning on sticking some small bolts through the malice clips just above the kydex to create a smaller "belt loop" but with the supplied clips that wouldn't be an issue. Darkchild
  6. My Beowulf holster, by T-Rex arms. Darkchild
  7. The 552 reaped a bloody tally at the weekender, mwa ha ha!

  8. Final battle prep for weekender, let's do this!

  9. The dropleg pouch was for me, and I must say the construction is solid throughout. Great work by Eklam. Darkchild
  10. Desperately want to get home and fine tune my loadout. 3 years is too long!

  11. I figure this is the best place to ask, are there any UK based kit Tailors who do custom work on here? I'm looking for a very specific item to be made. Darkchild
  12. Got an end Date! I will be back in the UK For my festival and the GZ weekender! Wooh!

  13. Wondering if I'll actually get back in time for the weekender...

And what a pissup with guns it can be. I have very fond (but hazy) memories of cutting up a lemon with a kalashnikov bayonet and doing tequila with MRE packet salt in the campsite.

Exactly, in 2009 we had a full scale light sabre battle at night. I smashed my mate Adam in the face, wouldn't stop bleeding for ages, and I took a mean smash to the shins myself. Terrible bruises. In 2011 I went and knife killed the team camping next to us while they were loudly bragging about their knife killing skills. I'm surprised nobody tried to fight me. I'm amazed nobody shoots somebody's eye out over that weekend, the amount of alcohol consumed and stuff that gets bur...

skirmished at gz 2003-2008. Just got overcrowded and *suitcase*. Loved the rolling day scenarios though

      Think of the bank balance...

I'm in Egypt currently, don't know where next. The bank balance is the only thing I think about.

  16. I know what you mean about the selector, it sort of grinds into place rather than click, but it can accept that when the rest of the gun is so nice. I was thinking of a MOSFET, is it something I could fit myself (my abilities stop at opening gearboxes, I can switch out barrels, motors etc but that's it) or does it need specialist tools/expertise? Darkchild
  17. I've had MP5s and AKs, I love AKs in real life but that doesn't transfer to the airsoft field for me. And IMO the only MP5 worth having is a Kurz. Buy the sig, you know in your heart it is true... Darkchild
  18. Well that makes me happy. Seems G&G were really on the ball with this one. Darkchild
  19. The tritium sights look superb, reminds me of my Northern Ireland days! Sorry to keep spamming this thread with questions (I would post a picture but my 552 looks the same as it did last time I photographed it) I'm happy with the appearance for now, but are there any internal upgrades people would recommend for the G&G 552? I plan to slap a tight bore in there but to be honest it fires pretty damn accurate with the stock barrel. If anybody knows of any glaring weaknesses with them that I should know of, it would be appreciated. Darkchild
  20. I need the side rail for a flashlight, because it's actually useful. It's built like a tank, I could literally beat someone to death with it, mags are a pain but on first impressions I'd recommend a g&g sig to anyone. Darkchild
  21. I may have one in the pipeline, if that doesn't work out I'll check out pro airsoft supplies. Thanks. Darkchild
  22. I don't do elaborate or Gucci loadouts, just what allows me to run around and shoot people to the best of my ability. Here is my new rig, which arrived today with my g&g 552 and some other bits and pieces. It's a warrior nemesis rig in coyote. All that's missing is my t-Rex arms Beowulf holster and I'm good to go Darkchild Edit: and obviously I'm going to sniper tape the *suitcase* out of all those loose straps, I haven't forgotten I'm a soldier!
  23. This is it, I took the rail off and added a vfg. I've always been a massive lover of iron sights. The gun is perfection anyway, all I may add is a flashlight for CQB. Darkchild EDIT: does anybody know where I could source a 553 style flip up front sight, as I prefer this to the 552 style aperture sight. Any help is appreciated, I'm getting nowhere with this.
