This was 17 hours into a 24 hour Milsim event, as we donned bergans and prepared to move out. At first light the teams had to switch start points, thus forcing a contact whilst wearing full kit.
We decided to make best speed to a track junction that we anticipated the enemy would use to reach us, and set up ambush there.
They walked right into it

Woah, Bando, that is positively satanic. I approve wholeheartedly. Also, after spending way too much cash buying and modifying mags, I have settled on ICS locaps as the best mags to use in a G&G SG552.

Okay, I'm sick of running Hicaps in my G&G 552. Does anyone know of the specifics to get the MAG midcaps to work? It's not the same as the ICS mod, and no matter what I do to them, the BBs will still jam after 5-10 shots, every time.
Any help is appreciated.

Yeah what he said, plus plasticard and a lot of dremel cutting to make it all fit properly. The handguard took me literally years to find, as it is no longer in production.

My Ares G36c is ready for next week's 24hour milsim event. Disabled the blowback, stuck in a tightbore and a SHS high torque motor and it's good to go.

Since I couldn't sell my Umarex G36C, I decided to make it more "me".
I Dremel'd the *suitcase* out of it and used a lot of plasticard, and if it skirmishes well I'll buy a TM recoil shock and do the same with better ris rail, better micro t replica etc.
The handguard is what makes it Brugger and Thomet, out of production for years now, pretty rare for an airsoft G36C.
Apologies for the "taken at night on an iPad" pictures, I'll take better ones if I decide to move beyond a prototype.

The site seems to offer a similar line of options to T. Rex arms to be honest, maybe a bit cheaper though. Something to think about when I get bored of my new Beowulf.

Nice looking bits of kit, what brand is that?. Are they compatible with dropleg platforms? I hate wearing things on my waistline.

I've got 2 of those Arktis rigs, still use the same one I was issued in 2004 in Northern Ireland.
Love it.
