Right, ran this rifle this weekend at a 36 hour game at cope hill this weekend, some good points and bad points.
The mid caps. Absolutely rubbish the springs can't handle a .28 (all I had since I ran out of .25's)
Springs need to be removed from the mags and broken in since they get incredibly stiff after 80 or so rounds.
1 of my mid caps broke while being loaded, the little release switch on the top flew off.
Range was impressive, although not as much adjustability in the hop as I'd like it still performed admirably, and managed to rack up some nice hits with it.
For it's first proper game I was pleased with the performance not pleased at all with the mag but oh well back to action hobbies it goes, I'll let you know whether they honour the warranty or not.

I think G&P can take RS parts and the TM can take the G&P barrel nut / delta ring so it should go.
Cheers dude, I've bought the Ris unit in question for the princely sum of £120 shipped It's brand new and I know midwayuk charge £260 for it
! even if it doesn't fit on the TM I've still got a spare upper I'm building for another rifle that it would suit. -
Any one here know the compatibility of a RS ris with a TM sop mod? Specifically a Troy VTAC?

utag, I *think* he thinks you're using an electric speedloader on 11.1v, not your AEG. I'm sure you ment that you use normal, mechanical speedloaders
Ps. please say some words about accuracy and range. Also upgrade possibilities of the gearbox

From what I gathered when I was bringing the FPS down it's a Version 2 so It can take gears etc, I didn't really take a good look at it since I wanted to be in and out quickly but it's the redesign of it that allows the different grip since it's at a different angle, if I have to take it apart again I'll take some pictures when I do so but I'm one of those people that doesn't fiddle unless necessary. -
Reference to my post above, the midcaps for the gun don't work in conjunction with an XL speedloader, and It's been fine on an 11.1v so far

Got a marui pistol speedloader, rewired it to deans and I've got a new hop rubber here waiting to see what the performance is like after a woodland game this week.

right, go it out, sorta. Took the front right of my lower body off with it. Turns out the c clip on the pin had come off and totally wedged in the hole. Not best pleased atm -.-
Anyone got a stock body for sale?
I might be selling mine, it depends does anyone know whether that echigoya receiver for the recoils is ready to ship it says pre order but I don't fancy dropping all of that cash for it to be a waste of money?

Right bit of an after report on my rifle.
Took it with me to a game, charged the batteries etc, set down to bombing up my mags and I hit a snag.
turns out you can't fill them up with a marui XL speed loader, which meant I was buggered and unable to use the damn thing.

The fit on this is much better than the VFC 416 since that had a mahooosive gap between the receivers, this sits more flush and mine also feels rock solid the hop unit appears to have been redesigned to fit into the receiver and is wider to give it that much more stability.

I've got one Blade runners post the externals are beautifully done, there's been a lot of attention to detail the grip feels slimmer not quite as slim as a PTW or GBB but noticeably different to an AEG.
The trigger on an 11.1v lipo is crisp and as long as your keeping the bursts relatively short I don't foresee any issues anytime soon fingers crossed, the ROF on a 7.4v is average, accuracy out of the box for my one seems to be average 50m give or take with a .25 nice decent groupings no uber range or accuracy but it is skirmish able however the FPS on mine seemed closer to 370 so I've trimmed the spring in order to bring it to more acceptable levels should be firing 340-345.
As mentioned previously the cover on the ejection port is plastic and feels cheap, so cheap that mine has already broken, the feel of the charging handle feels poor in comparison with my old VFC scar and the cover has also broken it doesn't spring back into position as it should do, minor niggles but for a £425 premium AEG I expected better.
I will give it a proper run through at a game this weekend should the midcaps I've just been robbed for arrive.
Another issue most airsofers will have to consider are pouches. Thankfully I wear a replica 6094 most of the time. LBT make an insert for 2 mags that fits into the kangaroo pouch which means I've only had to splash out on the insert and a blue force gear 417 double mag pouch there is an airsoft retailer in the UK that I managed to get both from the remaining two mags should in theory fit into a double decker taco but we shall see since the single mag pouch I do have felt a bit tight.
I've not owned it long enough to make a proper judgement but despite the minor issues I'm happy with the rifle time will tell as to how the internals hold up, fingers cross it's like my scar which I ran for three years on an 11.1v lipo and used as a loaner rifle for friends who would rape it on full auto with a dozen high caps without any issues at all.
