  1. x2, Happy B-Day!

  2. If I ever do something like that, it won't be for a nice, long time. Need to finish my other projects first. -Vic
  3. The major turn-off, is the gap between the handguard and the EGLM. Soo...another MS-Paint creation: It's awesome, in it's own little disturbing way. -Vic
  4. Anyway... Seeing as the AUG is a touchy subject, I'm curious as to what will happen when I throw this in: Made it the other day on MS Paint out of curiosity. (Yes, I know, it's not 100% accurate.) Not sure what to think of it, to be honest. -Vic Edit: Picture Magpul MBUS sights on the top rail, and Magpul XTM rail pannels in FDE on the sides. Hmmm...
  5. Looks like I'll need another 1750... Don't know what I was thinking when I thought I'd be able to fit both the M468 and the IAR in one 1750. -Vic
  6. From what I remember, Titleist used an extra long X-Acto blade. Which is probably what I'll be using, too. (Unless any of you know of any better cutting methods.) -Vic Edit: http://cgi.ebay.com/100-PERSONNA-X-ACTO-AR...%3A1%7C294%3A50 Something like this, perhaps. Only I don't 100 of 'em...
  7. Indeed. I quite like my 1750. Definetally worth the investment, methinks. Haven't cut it yet, though. I plan to do so after I have my guns converted. However, I did slap a buncha' kewel stickers on it. -Vic
  8. Now you just gotta' paint it red tigerstripe and mount an ACOG on it. Kidding aside, nice build! Pretty sure it's the first of it's kind, at least that I've seen. -Vic
  9. http://www.airsoftadvantage.com/index.php Cheaper shipping this way, too. -Vic
  10. That is quite a bit easier than I thought it'd be. Thanks! As for the C-Mag, yes, I'll most likely go for the Hero Arms. From what I understand, it's the highest quality C-Mag available. -Vic
  11. Very, very nice, Corps. When you get the time, if you can PM me how you perform the blackened weathering affect, I'd really quite appreciate it. Once I get it up and running, we can say goodbye to the expander, as I'll be using a C-Mag with the IAR on occassion. -Vic
  12. STAR makes one, although from what I understand, they're pretty hard to find, and once you do, you'll be pretty disappointed. (This is only what I've read, though.) A good stand-in might be one of those ACM Aimpoint Micros. -Vic
  13. The only way I've figured out how to do it, without modification, is with this setup: It's not true to the H&K design, as it lacks that one larger chrome piece, but I've seen other gas pistons that look similar to the one in my picture. -Vic Edit: By the way, yes, this setup will also work with lower profile gas blocks. There will be a slight slope in the gas piston, though.
  14. You're an evil man that locks all of my kewel threads. :-P

  15. I would think that Jack Bauer is older than 21...none-the-less, happy birthday.

  16. http://www.tacticalgeardepot.com/product_i...4d433a86c58f9d5 I'm pretty sure this one will work. -Vic
  17. Wrong-O! It won't fit without serious modification, and I don't want to risk fudging it up. So, I'll need to order a lower profile gas block... -Vic
  18. Once the rest of my parts arrive (heavy barrel extension, gas block, other bits), that I will. -Vic
  19. Thanks guys. I have a H&K gas piston gas block on the way that I'll modify slightly. (It should fit under the rail system.) Battery? Battery?! If I keep it, it'll be converted to gas blow back. -Vic
  20. My apologies for posting this everywhere...I'm just really liking the way it's turning out. My WIP USMC IAR: If I keep it, I'll add a black MIAD. -Vic
  21. Do/will you own a ARES/STAR EGLM? http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...howtopic=160100 -Vic (A collective "you", that is. )
  22. Yep, working on that, too. (Forgot to mention it with the others.) -Vic EGLM Trigger Pack Poll: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...160100&st=0
  23. Thanks. For $200, the Stand-Alone EGLM is well worth it. I'm currently working with ARES in making the -L and -H trigger packs available separately as well. -Vic
  24. It's the only airsoft gun, that I know of, that has it's own Wikipedia page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highlander_Magnum -Vic
  25. Yep, same diameter. I've seen one or two M468s with the PRI flip-up frontal BUIS, so I'd go with one of those. I'm pretty sure they were used on the prototype of the M468 as well. -Vic
