  2. This is a bad picture. The day was over, so my gear was all beat up and my shirt was over my belt and everything. But it gives you a basic idea of what I look like. BTW, that's a barrel cover, they're required at this field when you aren't playing.

P.S. The boots are fine. I'll get tan ones soon, but these go with all of my other loadouts, and there's a lot of undergrowth at this field.

Your flag is on the wrong shoulder, or it should be inverted. The stars always face forward. You need to either switch shoulders or get an inverted flag patch. In case you aren't reading this thread, I'll PM you too.

  4. Ugh. Nice rifle, but the vert grip mounted on the bottom of the handguard is not only a terrible idea, but completely pointless. In fact, it'll probably screw the ergonomics nicely.

The M500 handguard is designed to be pressure-activated by your fingers when you hold the handguard normally. Add a vert grip and not only will it be wobbly, etc, but you won't be able to activate the flashlight, and the vert grip will probably get in the way of you getting a normal grip that allows you to activate it.

    And breathe.

Maybe the ergonomics need a good screw. Is it just me or did he just describe the M4s in the movie SWAT, but add a chinsey foregrip?

  5. Hey, wow, didn't want to offend anybody with these pics - just some easy loadouts for different Szenarios.

Edit in Response 4 your Edit:

Pack of Luckies is in the breast pocket. Jeans are some cheap ones, really faded by now and some dirt stains. As for shirt, probably have to get a less colored one, you're right.

Dirt is a main factor, but with indoor pics I didn't want to ruin my living-room. When we go for that szenario, I will take care of it

The idea behind it is clever though. I really like the loadouts. If I could point something out, I got a bit of a laugh at the terrorist loadout. The lighting makes the jacket look purple, so I was starting to think that it might make a good Joker loadout :P

Anyway, way to think outside of the box. I really like seeing people do the CIA SAD loadouts. I wanted to do one, but I haven't had the time and money to do anything decent.

Excellent choice of weapons for each loadout. They all seem very believeable.

  6. Careful with the stereotypes. <_<

Besides, if you really want to get a more rural "gun nut" kind of look, I would use more generic single-shade-of-blue cheapo jeans or carharts. As for the jacket, camo works, but carharts or a flannel shirt are better. Your plaid is a little too brightly colored. That shirt would be considered a little gay where I grew up. As for footwear, work boots are a must. You also need a pack of smokes, and the clothes are WAY too clean. Get some motor oil on them, and especially on your hands.

Halloween costume, 2005. That's me coming in the side door at the nightclub I used to work at.

And Halloween 2007, Junior from Reno 911:

You can't tell from the picture, but every aspect of that uniform is complete. The Second Chance vest is real, the Sig P226 is real (I know they use Berettas, but I'm on a budget here, lol), the spare mags are real, the belt and pouches are all leather basketweave of various brands. The holster is Safariland.

  8. My two M4s. Both upgraded above UK limits, so FPS will not be mentioned here. The black one is a CA M15A4RIS with a King Arms red dot, and the camo one is a DBoys/Boyi M4A1 RIS with an NCStar 4x scope. I also have the animated versions of my guns that I made today :D

I think I saw somewhere on a thread that they lifted that band, but you still can't say how to make it reach that certain high FPS

Oh. Well in that case, the CA is shooting 370 and the Dboys is shooting 360. The field I play at has a 400fps limit, and I didn't want to risk pushing it over that with a more powerful spring. Besides, with the JBU 6.03mm tightbores and Madbull hopup rubbers I have on both, that is plenty of FPS. I also have 9.6v 3800mah batteries on both of them, so the cyclic rate is great.

  10. Correct. Freehand Sharpie rifle art is the new, uh...

I don't want to look like I work at Chochkies, but a couple of pieces of flair make the loadout mine... ;)

That reminds me. I started painting things, and now I can't stop myself. I love "ruining" my expensive stuff with camo paint. So now I think my new thing is going to be sharpies. I think instead of getting name tapes for my vests, I'm going to sharpie my name on them. I think it would look cooler. Kind of like how the Deltas in BHD had duct tape with sharpie on it for their blood type, instead of some high-speed patch. It just seems more realistic to me, and thus cooler. We'll have to see. But anyway, it's nice to know that once you cross over that threshold of actually "ruining" your gear by customizing it, it becomes a lot less scary :D
