Just finished up this leather pancake holster for my series 70. Stitch work is pretty rough (and not a proper saddle stitch) but I'm really happy with it considering its the first leather work I've done.

Grabbed a new chest rig and leg rig recently, very happy with how lightweight and well fitting both pieces are. Very high quality considering both are no-name Chinese clones

Do need to get a different holster for it, sliding this thing in and out of a serpa makes me terrified I'm gonna scratch something

Here's my third 1911 - after buying one WE and hating it, selling it for next to nothing then buying another one, hating it, and selling it yet again. I finally decided to not be so cheap (both were second hand and got for about £70) I went and got myself a TM Series 70

So I used to run a chest rig and G&P M16a3, but found pretty much every time I skirmished I ended up using my pistol with a couple pouches on a belt. I've finally accepted this reality and moved on to lighter kit, with a lighter rifle.
