Maybe, pretty sure he would have taken the magwell difference into account (in fact I even built my hybrid 416 for that reason). But would suck to buy six mags or so and them not to fit properly.

So after discussing with a friend he reckons the MSK PMags are different dimensions to the STANAGS (don't think he's seen one in person though) and that they might not fit "right" in the M4 magwell. Anyone got experience using them in the M4? Also I take it they're based off the V2 system? Cheers.

GHK don't do 416 parts as far as I'm aware, building a hybrid like the old school SEAL shooters, plus can share mags with flatmate. Flatmate who happens to have a load of spares, inner barrel, standard open bolt and hop up sorted. Do need to either mod or get a new charging handle though as for some reason mine makes the bolt protrude too much (its definitely not a WE handle). We tested across uppers, lowers, bolts and handles.

So, looking over my WE closed bolt M4. I want to make it open bolt. What do I actually NEED to convert it? The open bolt conversion kit seems to come with a lot of parts and I'm curious if its all necessary as we've got a spare bolt in the flat. New bolt is a given, new inner barrel, new hop unit, bolt release catch (mag parts too I guess)? Forgive me for I am new to the GBBR way of life.

Seems like the appropriate place to ask (and in return I'll promise to upload some pics of my M4/416 hybrid if I do anything special with it) PTS or Kimpla glass breaker for my AAC suppressor? Didn't even know PTS did one.

Very nice kit. Couple of questions, what helmet and night vision shroud is that? Guessing the arm is a Rhino arm? Looking into mounting solutions for my PVS14 but I'm a noob. I want a FMA ballistic Maritime but would probably change the NV shroud included to a real one of some description and then use a Rhino arm. Only Rhino arms I can seem to find mention fitting the PAGST family of helmets.

That feels a bit lame. But it does seem to be the best replica LA-5 out there. And the real ones would be a fortune if I could even find one. And then I'd probably end up blinding some poor person.

Anyone had luck fitting an IR illuminator in place of the standard LED? Now I've got some basic night vision sorted its next on my list.

From what I remember they're a Korean company producing some harder to find parts. They did a replica of the glass breaker for 416 suppressors and the "correct" Devgru sling plate for the 416. What's annoying is I can't seem to find their actual site address on my phone.

Well Fox did actually put "US Navy SEALs kill Obama" up on their ticker tape when the news broke. Not sure if wishful thinking on behalf of the crew... But I thought it was a 416 that was used in the raids.

I didn't realise they were doing it with new 416s. I know that originally H&K were providing upper kits to refit M4s. I had actually considered running a 416 like that anyway. Just don't know what I'd then do with the 416 lower, maybe keep it as a spare.

The MSK PMags are noted as not fitting the 416. Is it just a case of a little filing to get them to fit (like real PMags)? Want a bunch of PMags or ideally EMags (don't see that happening though) for the 416 I'm looking to buy and the only other WE PMags I can find in any quantity appear to be at a Canadian store.

Cheers. It is a very nicely priced unit and I'd rather a LA-5 than an AN PEQ. I'm not too fussed about the IR laser as there's some concern it could cause some damage to eyes as there's no blink reflex. However the flashlight would definitely be swapped to an IR LED for when I do sort out NV. I assume night vision will pick up the visible laser no problem? Really hope it stands up to recoil though as I'm even looking at losing my AEGs and moving to TM recoils and GBB.

Any updates on your PEQ blobface? Looks like I'll have my first GBBR rifle in a few weeks and I'm curious as to whether its worth buying one of these for it or not.

Nice to see how CB works with AoR2 as I've a CB belt system and am building up some AoR2 BDU. Anyone got pics of AoR2 mixed in with Multicam and Ranger Green kit? Looking at picking up some FS pouches for my 6094 but they don't supply kit in AoR2 to civilians. Trying to work out which colour would look best.

I agree with the fps change being minimal, hence the SPR is definitely going to be a different rifle (but I might also keep it at low FPS and leave an upped fps to something like an EBR, 417 or an SVD), especially as I'm still torn between the solid stock and sliding for that. In an ideal world I'd have a complete SOPMOD, Mk18 and SPR but I've got to think about costs and space. Anyway this is all hypothetical at the moment as I'm a way off buying anything big (and the TM Breacher calls too)=

Being a complete Recoil novice (but I'm certain I want this system in my life, next rifle purchase will be either a Recoil or GBBR) I was wondering how viable it would be to swap upper receivers on the Recoil M4s? I ask as I'd like to have in my collection a SOPMOD, Mk18, SPR and a 416. The SPR I'd probably increase the fps on so that'd be a seperate build as would the 416 (I do like the 416 upper on a M4 base but reckon that might be complicated TM wise potentially) but being able to swap the upper on a M4 to make a SOPMOD or Mk18 as I felt like would be handy. Of course, getting hold

And a total cost? I like it, but then I love AR platforms.
