  1. The shells need to be lubed. i'm using the same ACM clone shells as well, and from time to time they do jam but this can be remedied by putting a drop of lube into them and then using a loading rod or skewer to work the lube down. Don't use an unjamming rod or you risk breaking the tip off in the shell and it is incredibly difficult to remove the broken bit afterwards. Also, don't leave the shells loaded when you're not using them.
  2. That spring that's gone missing, I believe is pretty close to a nozzle return spring for a TM glock or hi-capa. If you can't find one of those you can use a spring from a BIC lighter. We budget airsofters use the spring that pushes the flint up as an upgraded nozzle return spring in the TM hi-capa, you just gotta cut it down a bit. It will probably work for replacing that spring you've lost.
  3. Found a buttstock/shell carrier solution for those that are having that issue with their butt pad falling off: http://www.evike.com/products/45245 Also, I was going to write something up on how to get your fore end off, but didn't get around to it yesterday. I don't have any pictures, so my instructions are going to be without, if you have pictures and you want to send them to me I'll put everything together and get a tutorial up. I'm also going to be going from memory, so I'm hoping i can get it all right. If someone wants to scan their manual and send it to me I'll upload it somewhere
  4. Finally have the ATI halo heat shield modded and fitted. still haven't decided how to handle the front sight screw hole.
  5. haven't decided if I will leave the little nub on the barrel. if I get rid of it I figure I could tap into the breach to re-attach the front sight. the fore end requires a fair amount of work but wasn't too hard. about 3 hours of my time with manual tools mainly. the inner diameter of the fore end is too small so you'll have bore out the inside. I found a half round file that worked out being the exact diameter I needed so it was a matter of removing material and test fitting it. next you need to remove material to get the part deeper into the fore end. I used a hack saw and fil
  6. finally got mine fitted back together... all real steel parts custom fitted to the 870: aluminum extension tube breach choke MagPul MOE fore end still have a heat shield I have to modify to fit because the MOE Grip rides too high where the hat shield needs to be.
  7. I have a few mods planned. nothing that hasn't already been seen. if it all works out I'll post up pictures.
  8. does anyone have or could anyone make a pictorial of the disassembly process? I'm looking to do a bit of modding this weekend.
  9. if you're having some trouble popping them out use a bit of heat to help release them. my valve swap tutorial is here: http://6mm-mag.com/2013/02/diy-install-danger-werx-low-power-flute-valve-in-the-kwa-kriss-vector/
  10. The dangerwerx valve is slightly longer than the stock flute valve, but not by much and it still accomplishes the same task... lowering FPS: here's a shot from my Kriss valve swap tutorial: http://6mm-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/step09-1024x768.jpg I'm fairly certain that the stock flute valve in the NS2 system is the same one across the board. I have yet to come across one that looks significantly longer than the other. DangerWerx hasn't mentioned anything about the valves being any different either, he posted in this thread as well: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums
  11. The DangerWerx is the same one for the MP7 and MP9 and all the other NS2 systems. The stock flute valve is the same part as the stock ones in the MP9 and MP7 as well. I'm not sure if the NPAS in the vector translates into more power, as I haven't had experience with the WA and WE GBBRs. KWA's NS2 system is already quite good at using the available power quite efficiently, I haven't seen any cool down effects or incomplete cycles using my Vector or any other KWA with NS2 system (MP7 and MP9) in cool weather (can't say the same for my KJW M4 though). Our indoor arena is probably 15C du
  12. I just posted this up in case anyone needed a guide to a valve swap on the vector. Hope it helps: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/208451-how-to-kriss-vector-lower-fps-with-valve-swap/
