Having only had these two I will have to say you are in a better position to say about the gap in the upper/lower. Mine really arent noticable in person and Im very happy with them, the flash makes it look so bad was bugging me so much I shoped the first pic

Its not really a quality control thing its just the way they are designed, and IMO G&P are by far the best armalite bodies The gap doesnt show in real life on my rifles, its just the flash ... however I have coloured the gearbox casing in black now so should be even harder to see Ill get some new pics in the morning. Yes the original ar15 + m16 are lovely, classics - no bolt on ######

Yep, 3 per pouch, 7 in a bandoleer and 1 in the gun. I really wanted the G&P mags, but hey G&P designed mags that wont feed in their gun Im thinking of getting some of the star m16 20rnd mags when theyre out in the uk, assuming they feed. The real M7 bayonet is a nice addon too
