  1. the mk1 uses a rubber patch hop like the tanaka style. Shot to shot consistency isn't too great over long distances, upto 40ft it is fine for elective shots. You can try and put additional barrel supports in but the barrel return spring is not that strong and supports add friction which soon overwhelms the spring. The short sight radius on mine is an issue for distance shooting but not for close work.
  2. thats what I was thinking, just not something i have seen elsewhere.
  3. What sight is the guy on the right running?
  4. spotted the Most ally guy this side of the last falklands just now. Para, in a '90 dpm parasmock dress pips on the shoulder! '58 web belt on top. mtp trousers looking like they have never seen an iron and a few sizes too big. od jungle boots oldschool panama soles. All this guy was missing was a sweet *albatross* mustache and he was set for the hill. I would call Walt if it were not for the 4 guys with him who I would actually buy as squaddies. and he got off at colchester which is proof enough of being genuine or suicidal. I did snap a cheeky photo as I was heading to the platform Will pok
  5. Not a Fruitcake was given that day and many noobs cried. A pic that has surfaced from last year, at this game we had the xmas outing from the local YMCA residents. We were expecting hell on earth but they were *mostly* really good sports and when they figured out hicaps there was no stopping them.... literally! 22 lads went through 150'000 rounds in just over 4hours of game time. Apparently they didn't shut up about it for weeks.
  6. I envy your GWA patch I was away and missed them in stock
  7. I think he means your weapon manipulation, reloads, slide releases etc. Of which I too was impressed. the gun is pretty sweet too
  8. Glad to know I'm not the only one who does casual things, like answer the phone to work calls mid contact or groom my beard

  10. Heroshark, How do you make them 'serpa friendly' ? I can see the reshaped trigger guards what else? I use p226serpas and pad them out here and there.
  11. The helmet i ordered from JK still has not arrived and the tracking number doesnt seem to work either with royal fail or HK post office. have emailed them. Druid, that helmet cover looks badass good job.
  12. I think my 2nd should be arriving in the morning. Opscore Vas on order.
  13. thanks for the tip:) still trying to decide if I want to modify the ICE belt or just sell it on. Anyone require a 44" battle belt?
  14. Ivan, are there access channels for sub-loads on the UR? I bought an ICE tactical belt on the forums but didn't clock that it was xxl at the time (didn't read properly) it is huuuuge. I'm trying to replace my old old old china battle belt and pick a second to run a different loadout on.
  15. http://www.ebairsoft.com/battleaxe-midcap-magazine-marui-recoil-shock-p-5325.html Hoi hoi, clone mags £10 a pop happy new year
  16. I also bought http://www.ebairsoft.com/plastic-mount-helmet-rail-p-4921.html when I ordered my Helmet. The butterfly mounts are nice and firm but the rail mounts are rather loose and have a fair amount of wiggle. I would worry about putting anything too heavy on there (contour perhaps) but i have enjoyed the last 30mins running around the house pretending to be a predator (GF getting stroppy now ) As my peq is the only thing I have to hand it has been entertaining me. I think this cold is affecting my brain :s
  17. mine arrived this morning too:) in an envelope and bubble wrap bag too. Entirely the same helmet as the rest of you guys. I have a Bert face and most helmets look stupid perched on top of my head and then spreading out a mile or two either side so am happy with the fit of this one. am slouching and have a disgusting cold so not a great picture but it fits and follows round my head well.
  18. try CR2's slightly smaller than CR123 and depending on where you shop cheaper too.
  19. Guess the GBBR's were right out of play for that event. What does the cold do to your batteries!
  20. Looking at the adjustment of those straps you really could do with a thinner pad set or a larger harness. How is the finish on around the holes, looks a little scrappy under the nvg mount.
  21. Arrived in the post yesterday. It's been over a decade since i bought a new bergen, and while both my old wyvern and para bergen are still going strong i fancied something a bit snazzier. As they were on sale at UKtactical for £139 i thought it'd be rude not to. It is a heavy bag even unloaded it is weighty but i tend not to ever have to do more than 5-10 miles at a time so that doesn't worry me much. The colour is more light CB there is a LOT of blue light in the picture making it seem greener than it is.
  22. do you find the shoulder straps on the JPC clone to be too far apart to be really comfortable?
  23. I think I have had mine since 09 and it is still going strong with regular wear at work (outdoor education and festivals) and year round skirmishing. The only thing that has gone a little are the cuff velcro tabs. I have a lot of goretex gear that I re-treat regularly so this has been regularly maintained. for the money at the time there is no way I could have bought anything similar in the UK so all things considered this has been a great buy, especially as I think I bought it on sale for $36!
