The holster is attached properly it's the vest hanging off him if you look closely. Lil dude needs to fill out and/or get a paca undernether his vest. But judging by the amount of kit (3 guns!) the kids carrying he'll soon beef out. Nice selection of kit superhobo.

So m4 needed sparking up a little and i was bored there was OD&OG paint around. With mags and assorted stuffs.

Take one bored me add a pot of OG paint and an M4 and this happens. Looks a lil shiny as the paint isnt 100% dry yet. Rail covers are in OD but still drying. Debating if i should do the foresight?

i dunno i have seen worse. but yeha it is pretty bad.

yeah, i got one of the early ones and allthough i had to take a few screws out and put a spring back on it's little holder thing after dropping my gun then booting it down some steps (cqc accident) it has been a pretty awesome sight all in all for $50 shipped (i think) i'm not complaining. Lol, since stopping smoking i have gained more than a little padding keep having to let out straps on my kit.

Pick up a fork once in a while! that is the only suggestion i have. you look like you need a serious meal or two. Nice starting place with the kit. what you planning on as eye protection? gloves? boots? And be prepared for the wha wah wah black gun replys too. Now forget the intermaweb and go eat lad.

Finaly have something uploadable, it's not perfect but it works for me mostly. The straps above my knees just help hold the pads inplace and take up some of the excess material in the MAHOOOSIVE medium size bdu's. The oversizing of the top is proving to be an advantage as i can get a not so tactical hoodie underneath it. Being in the UK i'm not so bothered about black boots ect. But i do need to krylon my gun a bit was thinking OD upper reciever and some of the furnature. Grim how tall are you and what size set did you rder? i got the bdu set in a M and it is frikken HUGE! I'm 6th on the nose and about your build.

Doing that to issue kit in my day would get you kicked up the backside and 2 days on bog duty! Alot of import berets come with larger crowns if you can source the right colour the USA is a good place to look. Old quiet army sirplus shops will have the large crown berets too. Worst comes to worst and you get desperate you can have them made there are a couple of costume companies that do wwII repro that will do them.

Fellowz, try substituting the plates for a softer material. I know you may hate the idea but motorbike armour grade foam is pretty ###### good in platecarriers and has good rigidity even in thiner thicknesses.

cool cool, looks ok. I was thinking i could as a fillin get away with useing my be-x rooivalk boonie with it. Have given some thought to when the dye starts to fade trying different dyes over the to to acclimatise MC to temperate/european cammo a bit. But only after it has well and truly faded.

Cant decide if OD kit and MC should/can be worn together or if it is just wrong. Still have a set of multisham on order will see how it looks.
