  1. With my first generation TM Recoil (M4A1 Sopmod) I would occasionally get lock up when trying to rapidly fire in single shot. Usually nearer the end of the day. (battery getting low) Switching to full auto and giving a short blast usually cleared it, temporarily, and the rifle could continue firing in single shot. Upgrading the stock 8.4v battery to a 9.6v battery cured the problem.
  2. Source Kangaroo 1L does come in multicam £30 including the bladder from UK suppliers Very good system, needs 2 extra malice clips too hold it on, didn't like the attachment method. But other than that, very good.
  3. Chris, Jp, Alex, and I all run ours on 9.6v and have had no issues.
  4. The TM factory workers did a decent job on my Sopmod and my CQBr. Both have seen plenty of use, I did buy eagle6 springs to upgrade the fps but never installed them as I never felt I was missing out on anything performance wise.

    Custom Gear

FLEDJAGER Small hole in the bottom of the kydex, paracorded through the drainage hole in the bottom of the pouch! Do like all the kydex work people are doing. Some very professional looking stuff
  6. ContourHD has replaceable batteries. Nokia BL-5C (a lot cheaper than the contour re brands) The Contour Roam is a fixed battery so 3 hours. And no 720P @ 60FPS Liking the FirstSpear helmet cover
  7. Same here. Put a Madbull DD RIS II on mine without any issue.
  8. Just storing them. Although I'm liking the idea of an external battery. Just got to make sure if I mod it, it has some degree of water resistance so I can still use it in the snow
  9. The web dominator and cord lock make it look a little untidy. But I do like the concept. I just ran some shock cord through the holes in my helmet and tied it up. Works a treat for cable management, and additional tie down for my counter weight pouch.(spare contour batteries and memory cards)
  10. master_titled We're all 6ft or more. The AOR1 is the Korean eBay copy, the Multicam is some china copy version. We all suffer to an extent with the knee pad placement being a little high. For some reason in the photo it's worse than normal. And it's still better than normal knee pads that end up round my ankles. Mr. Jon Pocket size is good, I have real Crye pads and they fitted fine and match the copy for size. The China copy Gen3 style pads I had looked good when I first got them but the foam flattened out really quickly. That might have happened to the pads in the Multicam trousers. Sho
  11. Team Diablo Operation Goliath 12th/13th May 2012 Stirling Airsoft @ The UCAP Sandpit, Kent Awesome weather, considering it's rained nearly all month. these photo's don't even look like the UK. In the 2nd picture we are wearing life vests as we were about to get in the RIB to get across the lake.
  12. Lightbulb Seems a little bit of an odd way of mounting the Contour. Even SteevoLS mount is a little high up. and looks prone to snagging on things I've used one of the low profile mounts. Mounting the camera upside down helps as well
  13. Like THESE scroll down a few posts, about 3 replies on how I did the mod. Me and 2 team mates have got a 36hr event coming up this weekend to test their durability
  14. Funnily enough a few people have asked about modding their Sordin's. It's not overly difficult to do the mod, just don't want to understate it, when people are doing it to £300 headsets. Once I (and a few of team mates) have used and abused ours I may offer the modded parts. But no point doing it if the modified plastic clips are no longer durable. If not I have plans to machine them out of aluminium.
  15. Yea, ordered 10 sets of them to get a decent price, then the knock-offs came out
