Work in progress, my old faithful TM M14 Socom finally got round to modding an old Kart EBR chassis to fit. Had to make a stock catch from scratch as it was missing from the Kart kit. Still need to get the chassis painted before making the swap over permanent. Im also going to swap out the 3 front rails for ACM magpul polymer rails to save weight up front. Jim

My current belt kit Loaded up for the last woodland skirmish 2013, 5x M14 mids, TM MK23 + spare mag and silencer Airsoft modified L85 combitool Cleaning rod (net curtain wire) Tape, screwdriver (Stanley Pen style) Torch (Gerber Recon) Tiny Pocket knife. Speedloader/bb bag combo Energy gels IFAK/ Foil blanket / field dressing, (Also inc. but not in photo "Ammo pouch" flask of coffee and 750 ml bottle of water) Jim

Ah I see, I dont store bbs in cloth bags long term. I keep my bbs in the original plastic bags or tubs and fill the cloth bag on the moring of game day. Most of the time I use Guarder 0.28s in everything, pistols/aegs/bolties, simplifies logistics somewhat, On odd occasions when I use Madbull 0.4s they go in the bag and I keep pistol ammo in a very small cloth bag and load the pistol mags by hand (tm pistol mags load quickly by hand from the base of the slot) Jim

I have been looking to give a little love to my poor abused TM MK23 NBB. There aren't really a lot of things that need upgrading or adding to the MK23 Socom, I bodged a 20mm rail underneath a few years back for my TM Prolite when I played a lot of night games, and fitted a Nineball purple hop rubber for the heck of it. But recently I noticed an addition to the Lees Precision Engineering (LPE) range, a very nicely designed 16mm Clockwise thread protector. So £30 for a walkon all day with 4000 rounds of 0.2 but not including lunch? No mention of minimum age ( to bring my son) but I will drop them a message and check. Pretty close to me, but worried it will fill up with rentals pretty quickly. Better than Finmere? Jim -

Hi Cannonfodder, How is this working out for you? accurate ? good range? I had a look on PAS website and found these were listed in the clearance section! I had been looking at picking up some G&P GBB PMAGs for my ACM GBB M4 (to finally use it to skirmish with!) but this looks a better bet all round for less money. Jim

Went back to Close Action near kettering yesterday after being assured that the site had improved, nah still awful, no safety at all , player marshalls only (some were ok, others were really bad,..) generally a day that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Latest incarnation of my belt kit, this is my first Molle belt/pad. I used to just use a normal duty belt with a length of 50mm velcro slapped on underneath to stop the molle pouches moving about, this seems better, Although the holster leans off the belt a little so I might have to modify that section of pals loops. Left to right Pantac double univeral mag pouch (I run either M4/Masada or a TM M14 Socom, this fits both style mags) WAS Double pistol mag pouch WAS Double M4 TMC zipped utility (nice pouch but needs some elastic loops inside to secure everything) WAS Double
