  1. Thanks for the update on the Well, Definitely interested in finding more about them, specially now that they have the 74M available. Please keep the info coming. And if you could upload the most important pics to a photo sharing service, that'd be great. All of the previous pics you uploaded were from a facebook delivery network, and are not working anymore. As for the Groza, the left hand charging handle is an amazing idea. And maybe cutting out the original one from the bolt carrier you'll be able to really comfortably switch shoulders without having to short stroke it nor be afraid of ge
  2. what what whaaaaaaaaat?!!!! Well done WE, the ultra-Chinese company that's cloning your system just made smarter model choices
  3. Maple Leaf Autobot 70º with Maple Leaf inner barrel. Can't beat that combo.
  4. That's a great price! And it looks quite good actually. My only concern is why did you go with that weird ventilated lower handguard / receiver instead of the much simple original design, --------------- In other somewhat related news, Gunfire has restocked the Well clones. Did anyone tried fitting a whole nozzle assembly from WE on the Well guns?
  5. In my experience, the WE fitted all holsters. Even rigid, plastic ones like Stich Profi's Alpha (best holster EVER) and the ultra tacticool EFA-2. The KWA did not work with the latter, slide is just a tad too narrow.
  6. Thanks for this sort of review. What about the performance? Can it shoot decently? FPS? ROF? felt recoil?
  7. Thanks. Comes to show just how little I know about GHKs. The short stroked bolt, mediocre hop and the lack of a "click" on empty always made me choose WE's intead. This kit would solve one of those problems, and TNT APS-X hop the other. I think I can live without a click on empty, so I can seriously consider the platform instead of slicing my brain trying to make WE's horrendous model choices into something reenactment-able. Anyway, why the change in the hammer then?
  8. That's amazing news! It seems they went for a WE-type recoil rod What's that groove on the hammer? Could it be to crear it out of the nozzle's way?

it will work flawlessly as long as you use the correct gas for the given temperature, in this case Map Pro (propylene), red gas, Nuprol 3, etc. Don't expect any airsoft gun to run just fine on green gas / propane at 10ºC, cause they simply won't.
  10. They are great. I've bought from them several times, outstanding customer service that got me all the spare parts I've needed for years
  11. Gotta love that thing. Any estimation on the time and how much will you charge for them?
  12. Totally offtopic... but I think it's worth sharing anyway: My WE AK fell off the second floor yesterday, directly into the concrete floor below. My sling release got engaged by some stuff in my chest rig. It survived. Without a scratch. Only the mag release lever pin got slightly out of position (quickly fixed by pushing the sucker back in), and the red dot sight got somewhat loose.. man, I love this thing.
  13. AK irons are no problem if you train properly with them. Specially in a full-length AK, where you can use just the front post as a "poor man's red dot". That being said, I reckon aperture sights and such are quicker and easier to use No simple way to add those to an AK, so red dots are a welcome addition. If you're going that route, I suggest using the side rail mount. Top covers are the loosest part of any AK, specially in airsoft, so it will be extremely easy to get some zeroing issues if you try to mount the optic in a railed top cover.
  14. Any chance for some pics on that issue? Also, does that mean that in order to use the Well mags in WE guns, you should extend it somehow?
  15. WD40 has no effect on orings. Not an oring desintegrator as most people think, but also not beneficial in any way. And definitely not an oring sweller. Soak that oring overnight in silicone oil and reinstall it. It should be good to go. Or replace the oring for a new one if needed
  16. why don't you just thread the 74U barrel instead? the front sight is a pot metal piece, and probably the weakest point in the whole WE AK.. and it's designed to hold a muzzle device, not a long barrel. Why go with WE barrel --> front sight thread -- > CYMA barrel when you can just go barrel to barrel and have a much more positive lock?
  17. Since the spring on it's own is really hard to find (hope my local spring manufacturers were as good willed as yours), and that floating valve looks horrendous (probably the origin of FPS difference between guns), I was thinking a whole nozzle assembly would be a safe bet. A buffer spring will short stroke the bolt, accelerating the bolt cycle and making cooldown less noticeable. But the real gas efficiency is exactly the same. Gas flow is controlled by the firing pin, which resets (stopping gas flow) when the bolt cycle cocks the hammer.
  18. AWESOME. 100% pure win. hmm what if you thread your WE outer barrel, and use part of the 74M barrel as an extension? the coupling will stay hidden inside the handguard, and you keep the perfect fit in the chamber with the WE barrel and perfect fit of the handguard, front sight, etc with the CYMA part
  19. Thanks for the detailed info on the Well AK Looks like a replacement of the whole nozzle assembly for a WE, bucking (and probably inner barrel) will turn those into decently skirmishable guns. My only real concern is that real trunnion snapping. Probably that short stroke spring will also help reduce the impact? One thing from the pics... that spring seems to be missing the shorter leg. Is that full auto disconnector working properly? how???
  20. Thanks for the update. Definitely gonna pick some up for the team when they come back in stock. Which type of barrel window does it have? Also, does the stock floating valve works well enough? It looks terrible.
  21. Hi guys, Just stumbled with this at Orga's blog. They have cracked down the problem with WE's AK (metal "7.62", curved style) magazines not feeding properly. It seems to be an issue with the outer shell pressing too hard on the bb channel, and gets easily fixed by dremelling it down. It's quite ironic as the issue is only present in the "improved" batches made this year, previous production magazines didn't have such problem Full explanation in the following link. It's in Japanese, but Google's translation is quite good http://orga.militaryblog.jp/e754442.html
  22. Best source for anything WE is KYAirsoft.com. They have anything and everything available, good prices, and communication and customer service are outstanding.
  23. Really hope WII Tech releases a complete trigger unit. Including the trigger box.
