I thought that alright. While I like the Storm Lake barrel on my own, I'd rather a steel threaded barrel. The search continues. Cerakoting cost roughly €120 (£100), including postage. Squad sent it with other small parts he was getting cerakoted at the time.

Drake, what outer barrel have you installed in that Operator? Lovely piece btw.

So, the Operator has been Cerakoted, and it's now complete. Thanks again to Squad for the photos.

Update on the Operator; it's getting cerakoted soon, so it will look even better in Squad's pictures I'm still undecided on whether to get a steel outer barrel or leave the Detonator Storm Lake threaded barrel in there. I could always get both... BigAl, if you're looking to offload that TRP, let me know the specs and price (posted to Ireland). Cheers.

Hi all, long time airsofter, first time poster. I always admired the Springfield Operator, but since my technical knowledge is poor (and poor is an understatement) I asked Squad_701 for help in building one. I got the kit from Boomarms after searching for an Operator MBK that was not a full rail version. Many thanks to Squad_701 for putting it together and for all those cups of tea.
