  1. Already have the laylax tool so i'm all good there! ordered an E6 M90
  2. So does a mechanic not need to go into my gearbox to make this change? Just take the stock tube off and chuck an M90 in??
  3. Hey guys & girls. I've recently upgraded my TM recoil to a finely tuned machine! Full Siegetek, lonex and Prommy internals with a Lonex Franken Torque motor, E6 M95 spring, ER-Hop and one of the new BTC New V2 spectres. It's running beautifully but I have one slight concern... I'm getting FPS of between 347-355 (UK site limits are 350 for the most part) Now I played with it yesterday and the site gave me the benefit of the doubt, especially since I actually play with .28's but didn't wanna be THAT guy who tries to pretend he's running at 280-300 but only coz he's secretly firing
  4. 23's would work great. A lot of the guys I know run .25s
  5. Yeah this is my thinking. I worry though. If I change the gears and spring, is everything else still compatible? i.e won't I then need new bushings, cylinders/pistons and so on as a result of the extra strain from the new spring and higher torque gears
  6. Coz the othe route is to go with a widebore and just bang an m120 spring or something in there. So confusing to know what REALLY works or not. You run TK twist barrels don't you? or is that just Sam?
  7. Considering it Paul but the question is what barrel, I'm happy to pay that bit more if it def gives me that performance gain and then what bucking/nub to pair it with. Do i then leave the rest of the gun stock? decisions decisions.
  8. Can I ask Richard, In your personal opinion what is the most viable option??
  9. Cool so I don't need to solder a connector to the contact bars? That was my fear coz i think that looks ugly
  10. Not had a chance to show off my new toy yet. Took a lil while getting funds/parts together but here's my gun as it currently stands Externals: - CQBR Base - Madbull NSR 9" rail - Ares M16 grip (hogue style grip) - Hayley/Inforce WML Light - MBUS replica sights - Marui Sling adaptor Still need an optic, thinking T-1 Internals: - Internally all stock but have a BTC specter on the way! What i'm really trying to decide is do I upgrade the internals along with the specter or leave it stock and if so what components to use. Also I have no idea how i'm gonna have the gun
  11. The one you linked me is a GBB one but thanks dude! Got some sweet new light weight gear the other day I can't wait to show off (Hayley strategic D3 anyone?) Definitely gonna keep an eye out on what the new recoil TM are about to lauch will be but I'm determined to build my light weight civvi build eventually so guys & gals of the forum please continue to inspire
  12. Hey Paul!, Indded it is! No particular reason other than I love the rail and it would be different from an NSR which I still really like. Yeah the hogues are ares but super super hard to find Bring on those BTC spectres though, they're so awesome!
  13. Thank you kindly! I'm guessing the Socom is the best base to go for right? considering the existing front wiring.
  14. Any feedback regarding whether or not a real steel rail or stock will fit?
  15. Hey all, thanks to Richard and the TM Recoil appreciation society on FB i've found this group. Thinking of doing a project sometime in the near future and would love to hear what you guys have to add! I'm currently a recoil HK416 owner but I really wanna make a light weight civvi recoil build but my technical knowledge is limited so just wanted to see what people think about the following and how difficult it may be. Recoil Socom (i'm assuming this is the best choice due to front wiring but I hear the BTC is designed for rear wired guns so if you think this build is remotely possible with
