  1. Jams you can resolve, like a GBBR you need to work away at it until it's butter smooth.

Only annoyance with the APS is the reloading shell aspect :P

You can also mod the dominator 870s to run the APS shells as well, so there are many options.

I haven't seen anyone in the past year run the 870 at my local field.

  2. Is it free moving in the Bbu?

Verstuurd vanaf mijn H8324 met Tapatalk

Yes without spring before I put it back in, with spring is stiffer. I'll get a video, maybe that's easier to demo haha
  3. Might be a lubed nozzle or bucking.

Bucking might be worn. Maple leaf comes with brass ring to tension the bucking around the nozzle.

Is it completely stock and or New?

New bucking (maple leaf blue decepticon)

Nozzle is slightly lubed (Aluminum), almost all UAC parts asides the BBU and lower.....

  4. How is the air seal for everyone?

Using UAC piston head, nozzle, chamber and when I rack the slide, nozzle just goes with the bbu and not stick to the hop up chamber.. almost zero airseal in mine?

Any thoughts? Need time to deep dive.

  5. You can get a MKII and put a "gen 1" bolt in, but that's additional costs.

The MKII seem to drop after 10 shots, and while I asked IPSC buddy here, 1 bolt fill, lasts about 10-14 shots.

    As per him :)

V1 has more power than the MKII, v1 shells take the direct strike push through shell and barrel, but the MKII shells has to go through bolt, shell then push through barrel, could have high chance leaking and leak the power

  6. So to confirm before I order from asia;

To use the cool PPS shell catcher (one that folds outwards)

    I'll need

    1) APS scope pins

    2) PPS shotgun shell catcher

    3) 5mm drill bit to make the hole bigger

    4) Profit??

@Nonex, have you used yours yet? Is it better then the APS Shell catcher? Assuming you can load a shell in the ejection port now!

  7. Thanks NonEX

    Next question:

MKII Shotguns seem to be only stocking now, so any "older generations" are not being sold it looks like - atleast in Canada,

    Anyways, my question was,

Can you use the version 1 (smart and non smart shells) in the MKII shotguns without gassing up the bolt?

  8. FYI I bought a Team GBB MP5K enhanced recoil spring but was unable to install it on my WE MP5 because the screws holding the recoil spring on the guide rod are like glued in place :(

Tried heating it up, held it in a vice, twisted like the hulk but the screws did not budge at all.

    Any advice?

If anyone is the MP5/APS guru it's you m8 :P

  9. The semi issue should be just adjusting the trigger bar. As for sealant, use polyurethane gasket (as the one used for windshields), silicone works but will wear down overtime with the silicone oil present on green gas.

    Thanks for the reply Dimitri,

What about blue gasket maker? - I've used that to permanent seal/fix my leaky M&P9 mags!

  10. Debating on a second hand p90 but has issues.

I read the thread here and said it may do with trigger bar and such?

The trigger will move slightly, but I don't think it's moving enough to actually complete the pull, both with the in and out of the gun, it doesn't click and release the bolt when cocked in Semi

It shoots FA and not semi as per user. Mags leak but silicone sealant seems easy enough.

    Thoughts?

  11. New MKII shells are available from eHobbyAsia and are about half price of original system shells and smart shells.

$90 USD for 25 pack ($3.6 USD per shell) and $15.50 for a 4 pack ($3.85 USD per shell).

    25 pack: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/a-p-s-cam-mkii-870-shotgun-co2-cartridge-25pcs-pack.html#.WUsCzGh94uU

    4 pack: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/a-p-s-cam-mkii-870-shotgun-co2-cartridge-4pcs-white.html#.WUsCzmh94uU

Smart shells are $195 USD for 25 pack ($7.8 USD per shell) and 4 pack are $36 USD ($9 USD per shell).

Not sure if there was an update here but the supposed capacity of the gas in bolt MKII APS CAM870 system is somewhere around 12-15 shots :o

Shells are cheap, which are ok, but not a fan of MKII system, based on those video I saw, the shots / bbs were dropping after 2 shots :S:S:S:S:S

Maybe OK for IPSC, but defo not for cqb gaming - imho smart shells are the way to go.

but will wait for your video :)
