  1. Indeed, and since I am not a glove user, I'm a little worried that they will be rather uncomfortable. Quite cold too, one imagines.
  2. Thats a bit of a shame then. So, its either nice looking ally grips or comfortable but awful looking rubberised grips? Altogether rather limited options.
  3. Pure - Am I right in saying that you've got Hogue grips on there? Thats the nicest modern SIG pistol I've seen so far. Not a fan of anything more modern than the 210 normally, but that is so sleek. My question is, can I get those grips in a rubberised finish?
  4. In keeping with my tradition of posting up my projects before they are actually finished - I present my custom FAMAS too. Once finished it will be the third and final installment in my Resi-Evil fan-fiction 'trilogy' of weapons - along with my 15" Deagle and shorty SPAS 12 with added real-steel stock. Looking forward to finishing all 3 of them and posting a 'family' pic The crazy looking bright blue C-More is merely a proof of concept and standing in for a black one. The 9mm conversion is based upon the use of Star Uzi midcaps. Silencer is from an ICS MP5 SD6. Thinking of locating from fl
  5. @Drake - I know @PureSilver - Yes, indeed. @AZN - No, definetly not. @scorch - Well, not full length, since I wanted to keep the outer barrel dark and mean looking. But it does have a 12" tightbore, and yes, the flies are ###### themselves
  6. Whoring this out seemingly everywhere, but it deserves to be here too: The maths is a little screwed up, 10" Deagle + 6" Deagle = 15" Deagle - don't ask me how that works - thats still 15" of pure joy though
  7. Say hello to my little friend : Definetly needs some more work to blend in the barrel extension properly but its getting there
  8. Beautifully choreographed Squad - an impressive line up
  9. Team logo - haven't got round to making any patches as yet. Would love to get some though. I know this has been asked quite few times but can people in the know just quickly summarize what my 3 best options are for team patch orders? (Bearing in mind that I'm in the UK, that I'm looking for embroidered patches and that I would be ordering about 10-15 of them)
  10. These images might help you see what I'm on about: Normal Yours
  11. Whats with the funky looking trigger guard Aitch? (top area)
  12. I've changed my mind - DO IT!
  13. Tis indeed, should've pointed that out - thought it would be self evident, that ones worth a few thousand dollars (probably) BTW, wolfgeorge, that Match model is georgous mate. I like it with the Black/Gold combo as it is btw, although I know you have intentions to make it even more bling.
  14. Well, I must admit, I can't stand the 1911 grip safeties. Never seen the point of them, in airsoft anyway, especially since I dont carry my pistol cocked and locked. I have two M1911 projects running atm, one retains the grip safety on the basis that it needs to be accurate to the screen-used model it is based upon the other scraps the grip safety altogther - something which I am looking foward to. Besides, I think some M1911s actually looks better without them anyway: Also, 1500 posts, woo! I'm glad I didn't waste this milestone post on some useless thread - the M1911 thread is worthy
  15. Can that brass beavertail even be depressed wolfgeorge? It looks to be pretty much flush with the frame.
  16. Here's my Resident Evil inspired fan-fiction creation. I figured that such an awesome looking shotgun as the SPAS seems like the sort of weapon STARS might use. Its got a real-steel stock, STARS medallion decal and a custom shortened front end, although as you can see, the seam where I have chopped the heat-cage has yet to be neatened up. Its next on my list of to dos for this one, also including adding the ejection port cover and safety which I forgot to put back in last time I put it together. Also debating adding a laser to it given the trend for all RE game weapons to have them. Thoughts?
  17. Arguably not Polymer is a lot nicer though - doesn't creak so dam much.
  18. You say the second one's ugly but I personally think it looks pretty tidy for a parts bin special (looks pretty damn close to my own deliberately made AK too, so I'd apreciate is you didn't dis my taste ). So are we gonna say under £100 for the Brits? Like in the 1K thread, where they say over £1000/$1000/ €1000. Anywho, great idea for a pic thread. I have a couple which should fit the bill - I will try to post up as soon as possible. My custom TM famas is a good case in point, I got the main shell of parts for just £35 originally. Must admit I've spent a bit, but it'll definetly come
  19. It is weird to think that a 54 page picture thread includes maybe only 3-4 brands (TM, Maruzen, JP) in it - more than 95% of which is TM.
  20. Turnigy TQ4 Quad Charger Review Item type = Battery charger Brand = Turnigy Price = £140 (Component Shop) ‘£140 for a charger?! I could buy a gun for that!’ You could indeed – many people have been known to use One Hundred and Forty Great British Pound Sterling to buy airsoft guns. I don’t deny it, nor condemn it. However, it just so happens that I have decided to spend mine on a fancy charger. ‘It better be fancy for £140 – does it cook you breakfast before a skirmish?’ Anywho, enough of that This is my review of the ‘Turnigy Pow
  21. My sister is getting married! Celebratory game of airsoft in order me thinks (any excuse heh?)

  22. Frozen Planet: man those penguins stealing rocks was some funny shizzle :D

  23. And now a few pics showing how the other half skirmish... (No, to be fair, we are normally geared up and kitted out just a little more professionally than this. This is just one of the many private skirmishes I like to organise for my mates. This time there was a dozen or so of us. Not a full blown event, I'll grant you, but any more and even my 3 acres isn't really large enough ) The view from my high rise Tree Fort: My idea of artistic photography - a shot taken through my stone bench: My very own Bridge over the River Kwai: And here's me at the GZW NAE,
