beretta
yeah the bottom one is dboys, the flash kinda messed up the pic though, I have a few better pics of it in the "dboys scar thread" though., the colour isnt perfect on it but its not nearly as bad as the pic makes it look.,
Massumma
Okay. so, VFC SCAR owners, two questions: Â A. What is a decent 3 point sling that will work with the SCAR, and comes in tan cloth? Â B. What aftermarket grips will work? Anything besides Magpul pistol grips? (Do Magpul airsoft pistol grips work out of the box?) I know my G&P Tango Down Battlegrip didn;t work. Magsz
The PTS magpul miad grips didnt work on my VFC scar.

Not sure about the grips, but if you scroll up to the top of the page you can see Paragon is rocking an EZ-sling on his scar. Edited June 5, 2008 by Dahmer45
Vercingetorix
The PTS magpul miad grips didnt work on my VFC scar. Wouldn't it be easy to fit the New ver. magpul miad with the none huge backstrap?
paragon
A. What is a decent 3 point sling that will work with the SCAR, and comes in tan cloth? http://www.opsgear.com/EZ-Sling-p/ibd-ez-sling.htm It's awesome.
Massumma
Ooh. Thats nice. So, it ties on? How sturdy does it feel?
paragon
It is very sturdy. It is secured by looping the triangle grommets through themselves so its impossible for them to get loose.

Chevieblazer
hey, the AP comp4, is it height adjustable? (or is the mount)
Mig1
There is an insert in the mount that raises it up to a one-half co-witness on the VFC SCAR. You can take the insert out and it will sit lower, but will be too low to co-witness with the VFC irons. Â Â
Reborn
Beautiful SCARs, everyone. Â You guys (and FarEast's excellent review) have convinced me to save my money and get a VFC SCAR-L as my next AEG to supplement my custom G3SG/1 (as much as I love it, it is a little too large for CQB). Â I have a photo request: can anyone post a picture of their VFC SCAR-L with a tan vertical foregrip, standard length barrel, and an Aimpoint CompM2 with a cantilever mount? Much thanks. Magsz
Cantilevers are pointless on scars since you have the monolithic rail.
Mig1
Chevieblazer, I think I may have misunderstood your question. Â Yes, the dot is vertically adjustable, as well as the mount having a riser insert. Â Edited June 9, 2008 by Mig1
Reborn
Cantilevers are pointless on scars since you have the monolithic rail. Â But wouldn't an M2 mounted in the normal fashion (without a cantilever) be too low for someone wearing a full-face mask to use?
Mig1
I think his point was not that a high mount was pointless, but a cantilever high mount was pointless. Â The cantilever mount is the one that "leans" forward so you can have the optic out a little further on a flat top M4. You could just get normal high mount, like a replica Wilcox mount. chaoslord800
I was looking into possibly getting a VFC SCAR-H in the future and was wondering what low/midcap mags (if any) are compatible with it. I don't want to buy the gun and just be stuck with one 500 rd hicap.
Massumma
The STAR SCAR-h mid might be compatible. No guarantee, though.
pedro041484
star's scar-h uses m14 mags..but it looks compatible with other Hs Edited June 10, 2008 by pedro041484
Donut
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but do CA's SCAR-H use SR25 mags? It'd be pretty neat if they do.
pedro041484
yes.. ca25 that is.. hopefully a&k sr25s too
Chevieblazer
i suspect that midcaps will be a very tight if not impossible fit. they always are with VFC. it's the one thing i don't like about VFC, that they only do high caps. Â
