Noodle_2000
Hello everyone, While browsing the ACM Boards; I came across this thread. http://www.acmgames.proboards66.com/index....59447285&page=1 Which talked about the Chinese Clone M249. Heres a picture of it... 90% Copy of Classic Army. 100% Compatible with Marui Internals. 450 FPS Out of the Box. Can't confirm any of this for sure. Just what I've found. Gary B. Anachronism327
nice find... though 450 is kinda high...
Munitions Man
So whats the price on this thing gonna be? It's probablly gonna be high.
TheAverageAsian
O JESUS! *puts grandmother, spleen, and wallet on ebay...*
MDK_Marshal
450 out of the box from a chinese clone? I highly doubt that. Even the Warrior 1 L96 runs at about 500 out of the box, and that's the highest power one there is so far. Probably gona be 350. In any case, looks interesting.
Mike_West
It looks TOO GOOD to be the real prototype. Unless, of course, it's not the A&K model.
Noodle_2000
I heard the producer is JG and the price tag will be $300. Also on the FPS note; I believe that the gun is pre-upgraded. Like the JG S-System, which is pumping 420. Note.. this is not for sure. Just what I've gathered. Gary B.
ColDaz
If it turns out to be anything like that picture and decent quality I may hav to add another support weapon to my arsenal.
Trasher
Chinese copy with steel receiver? Joke of the day... Next! The picture is of a CA249 Para with a CA hicap inserted.
SwatMP5man
Meh, Mike West has this one confirmed as well, check the Chinese clones thread in Geneal Discussion and he's got a link to his OWN MySpace site with proper clone pictures in.
Monk
I'm sorry, but 450 fps out of the box is a red flag that this is bull. And yes, that is a Classic Army.

Munitions Man
Oh well, I was really hoping for a good inexpensive support gun, but I guess I'll save my time and money and buy an SRC MG36 instead.
Mike_West
Well, the news are more or less accurate. But the photo is just a placeholder .
Revenge Seeker
Chinese copy with steel receiver? Joke of the day... Next! The picture is of a CA249 Para with a CA hicap inserted. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> wait, what? did someone say it was steel?
The Crunchy Bunny
I hope it's 300. Cause I really want one to make my noob friends run away in fear.
ARadam6696
Doesnt CA sell their mechbox's and hopups separatly? If so, and this thing is metal, it might be worth looking into.
sekiryu
Is it just me, or does the stock look like it's bent upward a bit?
Revenge Seeker
I think its been confirmed that this is real if you read on ACMgames. But you guys are correct, that is a picture of the ca one. This is the real thing but its still a prototype (hence the tan handguard and unfinished metal) and thats another thing; metal receiver!! Well, at least that's what I got from the image.
Mike_West
Dude, it's in the news... Stamped steel body, front sight and rail are most probably still potmetal.
lineman66
$300? It'd be worth it depending on how well the GB runs. If it doesn't shoot well then I could care less about the stamped body or whatever, it'd just be a $300 paperweight. Edit: Forgot to mention that I really didn't like the A&K S-System that I had, hope that A&K's cleaned up their act and will be making better guns. Was somewhat hoping that JG's making the 249, they look to be the most promising maker of ChiMan guns. (per Darklite's coinage of the term)
Revenge Seeker
Dude, it's in the news... Stamped steel body, front sight and rail are most probably still potmetal. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> still potmetal? Is all chinese guns that are metal made of potmetal? Well except the mp40 which I know is steel. Hmm, its in the news in this forum? let me go look at it. Thanks!
armada741
is it gonna be mostly metal?? and i think $450 is too high.
