Sgt. Kinnaird
And Land CIRAS? No. But, the RLCS Land CIRAS has been seen being used. http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll260/J...pg?t=1232160069 That pic is from Jan. 2008. Nice pics Charlie. Edited January 17, 2009 by Sgt. julietcharlie
Your welcome Sorry but that's all I got, I've been waiting for a photo of the RBAV for a long time and I was fortunate to see it in MP.net
Jolly15
But isn't the rig the other guy is wearing a Land CIRAS?
Chevieblazer
not so sure about that. the pic is just too small, really. there seems to be a dark something, right where the velcro field of the mar ciras would be. can't make out the quick release though. also not to sure about 2008, since he's got a peqII
Jolly15
I'm talking about the picture with the guys feeding the goat. Also PEQ 15 haven't replace all PEQ 2s yet.
master_titled
one is an IOTV, the other is an RBAV Edited January 17, 2009 by master_titled
JAYALA
Will the RBAV replace the CIRAS in the future?
Azulsky
Yeah they say that though i doubt the CIRAS will simply disappear entirely.
julietcharlie
The RBAV won the contract in SOCOM to replace the CIRAS so yup we'll be seeing more of them soon in use.
Loe
apparently there is a downfall about the rbav's release system comming undone to easily.
Wrench Bender
The RBAV won the contract in SOCOM to replace the CIRAS so yup we'll be seeing more of them soon in use. It's more like BAE won the contract over Eagle Industries. I wonder if we will see eclipse pouches as part of future gear kits for the guys who have the alphabet kit sets. The Crunchy Bunny
sexy kit mrk. Old school SF loadout's are always awesome. Just get that BALCS dirty.
Bronco5150
Just get that BALCS dirty. Most annoying comment ever. (Not directed at an individual)
HaVoC
mrk, the kit looks neat but I've never seen guys really run pouches on the BALCS (at least not the vertical PALS version), given the limited capacity of that tiny area of webbing, and the vertical orientation making things annoying to access. How about running something like a SPEAR ELCS or a light chest rig like a MAV over it instead?
yubbermax
HaVoc: I've seen guys with a few (1 or 2) mag pouches on the chest part with the ELCS webbing over the armor.
HaVoC
Oh yeah, not saying they never use it, just it's not really enough to carry EVERYTHING. You see guys with a couple of pouches up on there, though, yeah. Reading my post again it came across like "They never use the webbing at all" and that's my bad.
Sgt. Kinnaird
I would get ELCS M4 mag pouches, not MOLLE II ones on the BALCS. Other than that, nice stuff.
HeuteGegangen
That's an odd list of stuff to carry on your second line too, especially if you've got nothing else.
