atomicaardvark, on a side note on the last picture you have posted, looks like Chris Koscheck from the UFC with a few other fighters getting intro'd to the SF guys. Looks like you can be almost anyone famous and get the grand tour to the world of SF, just like with Tiger Woods and his visit with the SEALs.

It's an old pic, older than the Woods visit, but I'm pretty sure that Kocheck is more famous in SOF team than Tiger Woods, and surely more appreciate. ;)

Or Steven Seagal, or however you spell his name, getting the tour and weapons training with AF SoF before he started training them in martial arts...... right before they found out he was banging his baby sitter... <_<

Was this before or after he got escorted off Bragg and told not to come back.

Not sure, I recall reading an article in the Airmen mag years ago... like '94 or so about him helping train SoF folks. Had some pics of him shooting the 203 with training rounds and a red hat instructing him.... a few months later he was ratted out for having extra marital affairs with his baby sitter and the AF cancelled the deal with him.

I think thats SF, Green beret is a good bet, even though you usually see them with a CIRAS. I dont see why a Green Beret wouldnt have ARMY issue gear considering they are ARMY Special forces. Not to mention hes using pmags i dont think ive seen too much use of those with conventional forces.

Maybe GB don't have army issue gear because they have there own issue sflcs kit? (Who is faaaaaaar away better than army kit) ;)

I think you kidding about pmag, right? P-mags are popular since late 2007-2008 in Army, we can see even more of it in regular army than ODA.

Yes, in case that the rhino breaks away, just put a bungie cord on the NVGs or Rhino to prevent to fall down.

Granted IDK how heavy NVG's are, but if they break loose, even if they are bungeed, couldn't they fall and hit you in the face, potentially breaking your nose or poking out any eye? Unless NVG's just aren't that heavy.

NVG's are not very heavy but heavy enough...... if it gets knocked off somehow chances are you have bigger things to worry about than it hitting you in the face. The PVS14 is held on by a thumb screw that can work it's way loose not to mention that the J arm they use is made of plastic.

If you eat dookie hard enough they are coming off your face with or without a dummy cord. The dummy cord simply ensures that you have a better than average chance that they will be with you after you run into a door jamb, or after you pick your numbed body up off of the floor.

TAD gear, Mapgul stuff, Strider, DBT and Paraclete....

Yes, and ACH, since when 18 series are wearing ACH? (And like I said Magpul stuff are not rare nowadays)

Like you, I can't say it obviously, but it's a base camp pic, maybe just at shooting range or anything else. The best way to know it is asking IronWolf where he find the shoot.
