The Crunchy Bunny
Sounds good, but you may be unable to fit all those pouches on the HPC.
JAYALA
Ok so I almost done with my CAG loadout yet there is one thing missing... I would like to know which are the mainstay weapons of the CAG, sure I bet they have access to a wide array of weapons, but I don't want to use a G36 and be like "TEHY ARE DELTA< SO THEY USE WHAEVARZ", I was thinking MRE, 416, or SPW. I know th .45 is a must. Cool Heart I know for a fact you won't be able to fit that many pouches on the HPC, I roll with a XL, and it barely fits my 7 Pouches, however it is comfortable as heck
Hispeed1
SOPMOD M4 CQBR Block 2 (Waiting for manufacturers to make a replica EOTech 553 in dark earth) Edited November 14, 2008 by Hispeed1
CoolHeart_ASN
Cool Heart I know for a fact you won't be able to fit that many pouches on the HPC, I roll with a XL, and it barely fits my 7 Pouches, however it is comfortable as heck Well, the idea i have to is this: - The triple single m4 mag, inside the cummerbund - The triple double m4 mag, on front-right side of the cummerbund - The 2 flashbang pouches, on front-left side of the cummerbund - The canteen pouch, next to the triple double - The radio pouch, next to the flashbang - The rest of the pouches, on my back, as seen on the photo i´m using as reference. I´ll hope all pouches could fit in this way!
airsoft_maniac
I dont think CAG carry that much ammo though...
mrk
I think is personal choice. Currently I'm carrying 7+2 magazines for my M4. Jayala: M4 with MRE or RAS or HK416 are good choices. Tweaked my M4 a little bit Changed pistol grip to Tangodown and stock to original M4 stock. Also changed the sling to VTAC 2-pointer. Damn you Coolheart now I want old style AWS CQB Vest! :/ Edited November 14, 2008 by mrk
JAYALA
Damn, that MRE is hot as fark!! Curse you MRK, i had already made up my mind to get a 416, but you MRE looks tempting as well...

MarineDEP
What's the deal with the SPEAR BALC's (vertical front pals) I bagged one, just the carrier but when did the full horizontal pals (front side) come out? and did that version replace the vertical pals RBA? -Andrew
Wrench Bender
To the best of my knowledge, the horizontal webbed BALCS was always a Ranger issue item, the vertical webbed one was SEAL/SF issue.
shash
You're right Wrench Bender.
MarineDEP
Has the vertical version every been seen with Rangers?
Wrench Bender
Not by me, but then I am not sure what kind of drawers they have either. I am sure it has been seen in use by them but to what extent is hard to say. I have seen no pictures of it on a Ranger.

JAYALA
Ok, my buddy wants to know if a DBT FAPC is propper for a CAG loadout.
Sgt. Kinnaird
Ok, my buddy wants to know if a DBT FAPC is propper for a CAG loadout. There are a couple pics at the beginning of this thread, of guys who might be CAG and who have DBT plate carriers. But, a smoke green Paraclete plate carrier or RAV would be more appropriate. JAYALA
Thought so, but he can't shell out the dough for PARACLETE right now, even though i encouraged him to do so What's that funny thingyon the magwell of your MRE Tangman?
[BS]_MARS
Redi-mag. This is an Army SOF kind of impression so I figure I'd throw it up here. I'm on the right:
tangman
Cheers all, I myself also prefer the MRE Jayala, as Mars said, its a Redi Mag...well a copy of one, http://www.redi-mag.com/
JAYALA
Cool, thanks for the info. Is it easy to use? What brand is the replica? I had a CA one and found it to be a bit of a tight fit, so much that a mag has been stuck there ever since i tried it...
