Nasty_TheYankWelshOne
This was the only one I could find.
Jolly15
I might have more, but this is one I can remember off the top of my head. edit: The guy in the middle might have one on. Edited September 1, 2011 by Jolly15
matfar
@Nasty : That was the one I was talking about. @Jolly : First one is a Blackhawk LBE harness, second one is a Tactical Tailor MAV 2pieces w/ TT X-Harness.
Jolly15
The first one is a H Harness, which is what he requested. And is the 2nd one a MAV? The shoulder seems to have more than 2 rows of MOLLE, the TT x harness only has 2 rows of PALs.
Nasty_TheYankWelshOne
Thanks. And also, do the TT X-harnesses come down that far? I thought they didn't come down that far beyond the shoulders.
matfar
Oh, that's right, I should have think of that too, considering I have one.... I've just took a look at the hires, and definitely not a MAV, but I don't know what is it :
Nasty_TheYankWelshOne
I want to say that's an H Harness, but it's only got 2 strands connecting the straps to the belt, so I'm not sure what that is. Also, are PJs using the MK18 MOD 1 or Block II M4, or still running the standard ones with KAC rails?
Jolly15
They should still be getting KAC rails.
Kevin Berry
Agreed, I would say that is an H harness............. luckily I have had a number of eagle SFLCS items from a US PJ source. I have seen/ had/ owned LBT 6094, Eagle SFLCS, Mystery Ranch with TT items mixed together. PJs etc seem to be one of the most most varied users of makes/ types kit is the USSF community. RIXX
looks like they wearing a lot of different kinds of vests, rigs etc. but no pictures of using a DOAV?
Nasty_TheYankWelshOne
What hydro carriers would PJs be running? MAPs?
PavelPJ
As follows Paraclete, Eagle Ind., Blackhawk - Tactical Tailor
Deltacor
Thinking of starting a PJ loadout Which MICH would be most used by PJ's? Which would be more appropriate 6094 or HPC? As a primary weapon i was thinking M4 Crane stock Eotech 552 Standard 15" barrel
PavelPJ
It depends on what time period you want to do...
Deltacor
2010 preety much or 2011 Is it primarily MICH 2001 now?
frogfish
No It's Ops-Core FAST and LBT 6094, and Crye AC combat uniforms in MC (depending on what unit they are attached to there are other uniforms used) for AFSOC. They did however put in an RFQ for a few Crye CPCs in MC a bit ago. For weapons you are looking at a Block 2 M4 or a Mk17, dunno about sidearms. A good site for pictures is http://www.markaforester.com/ RIP Edited September 8, 2011 by frogfish
PavelPJ
So you know time period (2010 - 2011), now you need to know what "type" of PJ you want to do if Pj from RQS or STS units. About helmets... Ops-Core FAST and MICH2000 are mainstream. You can see 2001 and 2002 (STS) as well. About second line (vests) you can Paraclete HPC GACK, LBT (Eagle Ind.) 6094, EI MAR-CIRAS, BHI Commando Chest Harness, EI RRV... and now you can see a few Crye CPCs or BAE ECLIPSE RBAV SF. About uniforms... you can see all types of MC stuff as Crype AC Combat Uniforms, Tru-Spec; Propper uniforms. I'd say... get some pictures, get some inspiration, get a knowledge then post here something like your kit list for check Take care Edited September 8, 2011 by PavelPJ
Deltacor
thanks
Nasty_TheYankWelshOne
IIRC, the PJs have used the RBAV-SF, not AF.
frogfish
Soldier Systems had an article about which one they got issued earlier on this year if someone want's to verify, but I agree I think it was the SF not AF.
PavelPJ
Alright, thanks for getting right info guys! I thought PJs got issued AF version but I was wrong.
Jolly15
No maps, they can use whatever one they want really. A lot of units will buy stuff in addition to the gear they're issued. When I went through one PJ's gear locker you wouldn't believe how much different kit he had and how much of the then issued Paraclete GACK was not even touched.
