Redhawk
From home page news, dated 5:22 pm 24 Sep 2004 by Arnie: "WA officially recognised, and two new models It's well known that Western Arms produce official licensed copies of Beretta pistols, and in an interesting turn of events Western Arms pistols are now featured on Beretta's own webpages (see here). Whilst this may not be of huge significance to many, it does show larger firearms manufacturers taking Airsoft copies more seriously publically, especially in a firearm training role. This can only be a good thing in my opinion. You can see the full announcement on WA's own pages." Actually WA info has been on Beretta's website for quite sometime. They're also on Wilson Combat and SVI pages. http://wilsoncombat.com/info_westernarms.htm http://www.sviguns.com/WesternArms/
Arnie
I think the main difference is that Beretta are now selling WA pistols on their own site, rather than just acknowledging their existance. ..at least that's what I can make out from what WA have printed on their website now.
