the cleaner Posted May 9, 2007 Report Share Posted May 9, 2007 Real SIMPLE. . I have 2x full metal fullsize Kimber 1911s available to trade for 2x full metal 1911 COMPACTS. In order to trade, YOUR 1911 Compact must be: 1) WA or MGC based 2) Magna preferred, SCW ok 3) FULL METAL. . meaning aftermarket metal slide, stock or aftermarket metal outer barrel, aftermarket metal chamber/breech and aftermarket metal FRAME. . this is the MINIMUM requirement. 4) upgraded comparable to my fullsize 1911s. 5) have full and accurate trademarks throughout COMPACTS I am interested in are: 1) MGC: Springfield V10, Colt Officer, Colt Officer SN, Colt Defender, Kimber CDP II.. .for any of these to be full metal, you'd have to have a Sheriff based gun because that's the only way to get these guns full metal . .except SD made a metal Officer slide for the MGC Colt Officer. 2) WA: SCW Springfield V10, Colt Officer, Colt Defender 3) Prime: Tommy Franks, Kimber Micro Raptor, Kimber CDP II. Springfield Micro Compact, Colt Officer, Colt Defender (if made) The only exceptions I will make for a non-compact are: 1) WA: Wilson Professional (4" slide, fullsize frame), Wilson Tactical Supergrade Compact (4" slide, compact frame), Wilson SDS Stealth Defense System (4" slide, compact frame) For those who do not know: Officer /Compact length= 3-3.5" barrels Commander length= 4" barrels Again, your Compact/Commander must also be full metal. . minimum if you want to trade. The Fullsize full metal 1911s I have are: 1) Kimber LAPD SWAT II, PGC based slide/frame + extras, Magna blowback system 2) Kimber Classic Custom, PGC slide, Prime frame + extras, Magna blowback system Pics available to those who send me/posts pics of their compact(s). Please do not waste my time. I'm only interested in WA/MGC based 1911 COMPACTS (or as noted) .
