Mostly because are pointless after becoming spam or arguing between users or are duplicated. To know the reason is as easy as to read forum rules, something that some people never did. I've not locked any threads myself recently so am not aware specifically of what you're on about. Remember that there's the "report" button so if there's an issue witha thread click it and put a message in with the problem. Especially Crazy Harry, who appears to agree with some of the views of some threads which I have, and has had the sense to lock at least two which were getting a little nasty... Keep it up!
