rwham
It'll probably crack, but we don't know what material the GB is yet... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> GB is metal. Thanks for Kapowwe, already saw it, and I guess that's where to go. Maybe Someone will give me battery, charger (good ones) and bbs for my birthday? Lawl
master_titled
GB is metal. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No *beep*, sherlock... What I meant is, is it going to be a direct copy of the CA and use pot metal as the material? Who knows, until it becomes available to us. I bought about 50k .25s off of eBay and it wasn't too expensive.
Munitions Man
So whats the expected price on the thing? It's probablly not gonna be cheap And whats this stuff about a 150? Thats definately gonna put to much stress on a chinese gun not to mention 500 fps is too much for any field around here.
Aod
DAMNIT! now i need a new pair of underpants thanks to you.
Pinkfloyd
I would never buy one of these. I have decided that there would be too much pressure on the gearbox from that spring, and it would die within the first 1000 shots. Sorry dudes and dudettes, clones=sheisty. SwatMP5man
Imagine the rate of fire you'd get if you downgraded these from 500fps to 328fps. Thats supposing that the RoF is good to start with.
ghost_x3
its unlikley as they have different barrels too, and since the MK2 will no doubt be wired into the stock and the para wired into the front. it will no doubt be two seperate models <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where was it already said? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> See it now? Rapier
There where supposed to shoot around 450 FPS to start with, which is a M140 spring usualy. Even if it is a M150 sprin the GB will be fine, the piston will blow out long before the gearbox. M249 GB's are THICK because they are designed for this sort of thing. If you don't want it shooting that hard just buy the apropriate spring, take out the top stock pin, fold it down, open the reciever cover, push in on the sprig guide and lift the latch, take out spring guide and spring, put in new spring and reverse the process. Takes all of 30 seconds.
AustinWolv
Is the US support weapon velocity really 450 FPS? I guess Ohio is a bit more strict since I'm limited to 400 FPS. meh No. Each area has their own support weapon limits, ranging from 400fps/.2g to 450fps/.2g generally. rwham is new; take it with a grain of salt. Pain_is_Red
Wow, this thing seems like a beast. 300 + fps stock, a metal body, and a top rail on both (unlike CAs). This may have to be my new toy (sorry M1014 ) Hope the price is as low as you guys say it is.
The Crunchy Bunny
Hm, my taker on it is that it is awasome to have a cheap support weapon, but I don't want 30+ noobs running around with a 500 fps support weapon with 2500 round box mags. I hope it will be 100% comapatble with the CA version. Ooo, now the deciding, This, a Maurzen 870 BV, or a TM M14........
[-=O=-]^{Woozie}
They probably think... Bigger is Better for the spring I probably never will get one, even it's cheap, Support gunner is just not my game... But hell, the CA249 is a nice gun thou... so hopefully this one will life up to its counter(feit) part Woozie
ghost_x3
I don't want 30+ noobs running around with a 500 fps support weapon with 2500 round box mags. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude stfu. Everybody has said that like 80 times, we get the point. It'll be close to $400-$500. Yeah, I'm sure a bunch of 12 year old noobs will shell out $400-$500 on their first gun. michaelmike
There are people, noobs or not, thinks TM S-system wih metal boby is a ton of burden, they bought it,upgraded it,put on lots of nice accessories on it,after one game, taken nice pics with it,proceed to retired it to a display rack at home,so i don't worry about the field being full of SAWs. rwham
But still, think, UTG rebrands, it goes on shortyusa, some spoiled rich brat gets it and shoots his friends (to death?(jk)) in his neighborhood. Could happen. I'm also adding up the cost here.. Gun, let's say $300 from gunners, shipping, hoping about $65, bbs, about $100, box mag, a hopeful $50..Use stock bat and charger til wallet recovers... I can just about afford this! To Ghost: UMMMMMMM Because it will be on n00b dedicated sites, and it shoots 500FPS?! TMs don't have 2500 round box mags or shoot 500FPS. That's like 700 with .12gs. Someone will get SERIOUSLY hurt if this gets on the n00b circuit.

If your going to whine and *badgeress* about this, then whine and *badgeress* about every TM or CA out there.
jerrytylke
Simple math, alotta kids cant spend 200-300 for a toyko mauri or classic army, so they buy a 100-150 dollar clone gun, how are they going to spend 400$ on a gun? oh since its a clone they can bust out a extra 300$ from nowhere.. HEHE EDIT: spelling mistake
